    Breweries tour

It wasn’t quite what we expected. We thought we would see bigger breweries instead of micro breweries. We were offered way too much beer. Of course, we didn’t have to drink it and we didn’t but it seemed like a lot of waste.

    Had an awesome time! Out...

Had an awesome time! Out tour guide Laura was really fun, accommodating, and a great conversationalist! My husband and I are locals and he even learned new things on this tour! We had a blast and enjoyed the environment! Would definitely do this again!!

    Fun Milwaukee experience

The tour lasted 6 hours. It should have been no more than 4 hrs. Instead of 4 stops with 2-3 beers, more but shorter stops. With 1 or at most 2 beers per stop would be better.

    Fun!

I’m not a beer drinker and I still had fun. It was interesting to learn how the process is done. A few beers I would actually drink. Sucks we were unable to go one of the breweries since there were so many activities going on.

    It Was An Average Experience

My husband and I have enjoyed craft beer since the beginning and have established a pallet for certain styles. We did this tour to learn about new locations in Milwaukee. We had four stops: Lakefront, Dead Bird, Hacienda and Gathering Place. Our tour guide, Ken, was friendly, knowledgeable on the brewing process and happy to answer any questions. He did a great job. The down side for us was most of the beers offered were okay, but nothing over the top. What we found odd was at each establishment Ken was giving the behind the scenes tour. In any tour we have taken, the owner, brewer or staff member has conducted the tour. The other odd thing was no one from the breweries acknowledged us or thanked us for coming. It was a group of 12. Lunch at Hacienda was okay, but nothing great. Would we go back to any? Lakefront yes because we do like and buy many of their beers. We’ve been there before. A no for the others. The van Ken has for transportation may be able to accommodate up to 14 passengers, but it’s going to be like sardines. Even 12 was tight and not comfortable.

Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milwaukee.

How much does Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner cost?

    +

Prices start at $139 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milwaukee usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milwaukee is not rushed.

Is Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Milwaukee, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milwaukee can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milwaukee and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Original Milwaukee Guided Brewery Tour with Lunch or Dinner start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milwaukee within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Milwaukee?

    +

Milwaukee runs brewery and distillery tours, Harley-Davidson Museum visits, Lake Michigan cruises, riverwalk kayaking and food tours through the Third Ward. On Outty we rank every Milwaukee experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Personal and Detailed Milwaukee Sightseeing Bus Tour, Old Milwaukee 9am E-Bike Tour, Skip the Line: Museum Admission Ticket - Grohmann Museum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milwaukee?

    +

May to September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milwaukee?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
