Secret Food tour Milwaukee-Colin
Colin was a great guide! Very informative and fun! Great sense of humor.
Response from the operator: We’re thankful you chose to experience the city with us. We hope our tour offered a natural way to discover its food, neighborhoods, and local side. We were glad to have you as our guest!

Fun, easy, yummy tour
Very enjoyable tour through part of downtown Milwaukee with opportunities to taste (and of course purchase) local delicacies like sausage, cheese, and more. Includes visit to 3rd Street Market Hall with its Beer Wall- taste test beers and pay by the ounce- and to the Public Market. Not strenuous. Easy walking with intervals of sitting (and eating). Julia was a great guide.
Response from the operator: We’re thankful your travels brought you to us. We hope the time spent exploring with Secret Food Tours became a worthwhile part of your visit and left you with a few discoveries of your own. It was a pleasure having you as our guest!

Tour guide didn't show with no communication
The tour guide never showed up. We were at the meeting start 10 minutes before the start which was supposed to be at 11:00 am. We confirmed with the staff at Usinger's, the meeting start, that we were at the right location. We waited until 11:30 and the guide didn't show. The email said they would go even if raining which it was, a light drizzle. We got no communication of cancellation. I would NOT give this tour any business and would recommend nobody else give them any business either. They don't keep their word and can't be trusted.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback, Brad. Our tours do continue in minimal or light weather, as our guests should be able to enjoy their experience even when conditions are not perfect. In this case, however, the weather conditions changed rapidly shortly before the scheduled start and became extreme enough that it was unsafe and impractical for the tour to operate. We regret that the cancellation communication did not reach you in time. We did issue a full refund for the booking as a gesture of goodwill, and we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide the experience we normally deliver. We would be happy to welcome you on one of our Milwaukee tours under better circumstances.

Horrible experience.DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY
Called to see if tour was still on as was raining. Was told yes. Waited 30 minutes and guide never showed up and now no one answers phone. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! RUINED OUR WEEKEND AND HAVE NOT REFUNDED MONEY.
Response from the operator: We appreciate your feedback, Jennifer. Our tours do proceed in minimal weather conditions, and the light rain at the time of your contact did not initially prevent the tour from going ahead. Unfortunately, the weather conditions changed rapidly shortly before the tour and became unsafe and impractical to operate. We regret that our notification failed to reach you in time. A full refund was issued for your booking in light of this, and we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide the Milwaukee food experience our guests normally enjoy.

Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us and for sharing your experience afterward! We’re glad the day gave you plenty to enjoy and a few new things to remember about the city. We’d be very happy to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours.

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milwaukee.
How much does Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish cost?
+
Prices start at $102 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milwaukee usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milwaukee is not rushed.
Is Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 251 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Milwaukee, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish?
+
Around 88 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milwaukee can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milwaukee and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Milwaukee Food Tour with 5 Local Favorites Tastings & Secret Dish start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milwaukee within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Milwaukee?
+
Milwaukee runs brewery and distillery tours, Harley-Davidson Museum visits, Lake Michigan cruises, riverwalk kayaking and food tours through the Third Ward. On Outty we rank every Milwaukee experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Personal and Detailed Milwaukee Sightseeing Bus Tour, Old Milwaukee 9am E-Bike Tour, Skip the Line: Museum Admission Ticket - Grohmann Museum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Milwaukee?
+
May to September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Milwaukee?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
