If we could give more than 5 stars to Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris, we would do it without hesitation. We had an absolutely exceptional safari day, but above all a true human experience. Our French-speaking guide was remarkable from start to finish: always smiling, in a good mood, passionate, and extremely professional. He took the time to explain everything to us about the animals, their behavior, and their environment. Thanks to his experience, we had the chance to observe an incredible number of animals, including the Big Five. What we particularly appreciated was never being rushed. When we wanted to stay longer in front of an animal, ask a question, or simply enjoy the spectacle, our guide took all the time necessary. To each of our requests, the answer was always positive. We felt listened to, reassured, and perfectly accompanied. The level of service also largely exceeded our expectations. Our vehicle was very comfortable and we had cold drinks, white wine, cookies, and everything we could need during the day at our disposal. And what can we say about lunch… A royal picnic facing the hippos! While other groups were picking up their lunch boxes, our guide set up a real table for us with a tablecloth, plates, and silverware. Having lunch like this in the heart of nature, in front of the hippos, will remain one of the great moments of our trip. It is these thoughtful touches that make all the difference between a simple safari and a premium experience. When planning a safari in Tanzania from abroad, it can be difficult to know which company to trust. We can say today that we met deeply human, honest, kind, and professional people with Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris. Their kindness did not end at the end of the safari, either: the next day, they even offered to drive us to the airport for free. A gesture that says a lot about their sense of hospitality and their generosity. The choice of a safari company is essential. You spend many hours on the trails, sometimes in very isolated places: the quality of the vehicle, its maintenance, the guide's experience, the organization, and the safety are therefore paramount. Well done Meru Slopes
Great overall experience with communication with Meru Slopes from the very beginning. We booked through Mr. Kocvara from the Czech Republic and then communicated with the sales representative, Jerome. All recommendations were valuable, and any changes were handled very efficiently. On-site, everything went very smoothly without any problems, so we could fully enjoy our stay. The pick-up from Nairobi was arranged with a professional driver, our hikes were well organized by the excellent guide Kenedy, and the safaris were perfectly managed by Julius. They all have a very high level of English. During the safaris, Julius demonstrated excellent knowledge of animals and nature. Thanks to Meru Slopes, we spent a wonderful time in Tanzania.
