Luxury Nepal & Bhutan Tour with Peregrine – My Second Unforgettable Trip

This is my second trip with Peregrine. Previously I did the Annapurna Circuit, and now I completed their Nepal and Bhutan Tour Package. They have upgraded each and everything for me. I am fully satisfied with Peregrine’s service. The 12-day itinerary perfectly balances the best of both kingdoms. In Nepal we experienced Kathmandu’s cultural circuit (Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Durbar Square), the scenic mountain flight over Everest, serene Pokhara with Sarangkot sunrise and Phewa Lake, and the Chitwan jungle safari with canoeing and Tharu cultural dance. Crossing into Bhutan, the tour continued through Thimphu, the beautiful Dochula Pass with its 108 chortens, majestic Punakha Dzong, and the unforgettable hike to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery). Everything felt well-paced, thoughtfully organized, and genuinely luxurious. Pradip did a great job making my itinerary exactly as per my preference. What I expected from a luxury experience was totally fulfilled by Peregrine. The accommodations, seamless logistics, knowledgeable guides, and attention to every detail made the entire trip smooth and memorable. Next time I will do the Luxury Everest Base Camp trek. For luxury tour and trekking packages in Nepal and Bhutan, Peregrine will be my first choice. I really appreciate Pradip and his company Peregrine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium, well-executed dual-country cultural adventure.

Exceptional Nepal and Bhutan Tour – Perfectly Organized for Our Group

I traveled with Peregrine Treks & Tours on their Nepal and Bhutan Tour in September, and the experience was outstanding. From the very beginning, communication was smooth and professional, and every detail of the itinerary was delivered exactly as promised. Our group of 15 people was well taken care of throughout the trip, with excellent organization and reliable service. Everything ran seamlessly, from transportation and accommodations to guided activities in both countries. This is a truly professional company, and I appreciate the effort that went into making our tour such a success. Thank you, Pradip, for operating this wonderful trip for us—we could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

    Nepal And Bhutan Tour

Predip from Peregrine Treks was a very helpful organiser. From the minute we booked to the end of our trip he was always there to help or try to make things better. He personally took us to a cultural event in Nepal, which was fantastic, great food and dancing. Our internal flights went smoothly and there was always someone to meet us at the airport with a sign with our names. The hotels were generally good and some were exceptional, with amazing mountain views... The drivers and guides were very good and happy to adapt or fit in extra activities. Me and my brother saw many amazing things on this trip including temples, Dzongs and forts, we finished off with the amazing Tigers Nest visit and a view of the Everest mountain range on our flight back to Kathmandu. This was a fantastic trip organised Peregrine Treks... :)

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that Pradip and Peregrine Treks made your trip unforgettable, from seamless bookings to personalized touches like the cultural event with great food and dancing. It's fantastic that our guides and drivers were adaptable, and that you enjoyed the smooth transfers, quality hotels with stunning mountain views, and incredible sights like temples, Dzongs, forts, Tiger’s Nest, and the Everest range. We look forward to welcoming you and your brother back for more amazing adventures!

An epic adventure across Nepal and Bhutan

Pradip was an ace planner for our Nepal and Bhutan Tour Package. We smashed out the Taksang Monastery hike and hit up the three main cities in Bhutan, then checked out Kathmandu and had a beaut overnighter in Nagarkot, Nepal. Superbly organised and incredibly enriching, this trip's a real ripper for keen travellers.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that your Nepal and Bhutan tour, expertly planned by Pradip, exceeded your expectations. It sounds like you had a memorable journey exploring iconic sites and vibrant cities. We're delighted that you found the organization superb and the experience enriching. We hope to welcome you on another adventure soon!

Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days cost?

    +

Prices start at $4,460 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days take?

    +

Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Nepal and Bhutan Tour - 12 Days start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
