An Unforgettable EBC Adventure

My EBC trek was unforgettable! The scenery was breathtaking, and seeing a marathon along the way was a unique experience. A huge part of what made this trip so special was my incredible team. My guide, Kiran, was exceptionally experienced and patient. He brought the trail to life by sharing fascinating insights about the local culture and landmarks. He always went out of his way to help me take amazing photos and flawlessly managed all our accommodation and delicious meals. My porter, Dorje, was an absolute gem. He always had the warmest, most comforting smile that kept my spirits high. I am incredibly grateful to him because when I accidentally slipped on the trail, his quick reflexes caught me instantly. Nepal Trekking Planner provided outstanding support, from detailed itineraries to help with transport and currency exchange. I highly recommend them and will definitely book with them again!

Exceptional Everest Base Camp Experience with Nepal Trekking Planners

I recently completed a 10-day Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Trekking Planners, led by Dibash. From the very beginning, he brought a calm and reassuring presence to the group. Managing 11 trekkers with different fitness levels, personalities, and expectations is challenging, but he handled it with remarkable patience and professionalism. He was always attentive to how everyone was feeling, knew when to encourage people to push forward and when to slow things down, and created a positive atmosphere throughout the trek. His experience in the mountains was evident in the way he made decisions, managed the group, and ensured everyone felt supported and confident along the journey. During the trek, a few of my friends fell sick with a fever. The guides monitored their condition closely, checked in regularly, and adjusted the pace when needed to help them recover and continue safely. Supporting guides Ranjan, Suman, and Pradeep were attentive throughout the journey, always looking out for the group, offering encouragement during difficult climbs, and ensuring everyone moved at a comfortable pace. Weather in the Everest region is unpredictable, and even minor changes can disrupt Lukla flights and throw entire trekking schedules off track. What impressed me most was how confidently and efficiently the team handled these challenges. Their experience and strong local network were evident in the way they navigated flight delays, reorganized accommodations, and adapted plans when circumstances changed. While many trekkers in the region faced uncertainty and schedule disruptions, our trek remained remarkably well managed, allowing us to complete the journey without impacting our onward international travel plans. Even though the trek was physically demanding at times and there were moments that felt overwhelming, I had an incredible amount of fun throughout the journey. The positive atmosphere created by the guides and the camaraderie within the group made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Nepal Trekking Planners stands out not only for its operational efficiency but also for the integrity behind the company. Dipak's journey from porter to founder reflects years of firsthand experience and a genuine understanding of the physical and mental demands of trekking in the Himalayas. His values are clearly reflected in the way the company operates—with transparency, honesty, and a strong commitment to its clients. Throughout the trek, I felt confident that we were in capable hands. From managing logistics and health concerns to adapting to unexpected challenges in a remote and demanding environment, the team consistently demonstrated professionalism and reliability. I would highly recommend Nepal Trekking Planners to anyone looking for a safe, well-organized, and memorable trekking experience in Nepal.

Awesome Trekking to EBC

We had a fantastic time with Nepal Trekking Planner on our 12 day EBC trek. This is my third time using Trekking Planner and I’d use them time and time again. Initially Dipak and team were great communicators and very well organised, making it easy for our group to navigate Kathmandu on arrival. We had an awesome guide in Dipendra who was patient, supportive and very experienced (knew a few shortcuts). Dipendra ensured our time in the mountains was worry free, allowing us to focus on trekking and the magical landscapes. Thanks very much to Dipendra and Dipak for such a great experience.

10/10 time, would do again

Trekking planner was awesome to work with, my friend has been with them in the past. Our guide, Diprenda, was incredible. He was flexible with we needed with pace, lodging, food, with plenty of recommendations and information about anything we asked. Fun guy to play cards and hike with. The trip overall was insane, went off without a hitch even when we couldn’t get on the plane to lukla. Almost no people on the trail and insane views. Would love to come back one day and would do it with trekking planner

Wonderful trek to EBC

It was a very well planned trip, We were picked up at the airport, and got put onto a helicopter flight as the planes were not flying that day. The guide Dipendra was very helpful and knowledgeable, we were made very welcome at all the places we stayed and he assisted us greatly. Would highly recommend this service and guide, was an amazing experience!

Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day cost?

+

Prices start at $1329 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day take?

+

Plan for about 312 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 95 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 397 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 312-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day?

+

Around 139 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 312-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Everest Base Camp Trekking - 13 Day start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
