Once in a lifetime adventure
I’ve just returned from an 11-day trek to Everest Base Camp and all I can say is WOW. It’s difficult to process how amazing it was. I was originally hesitant about going in June because it’s meant to be the monsoon season but we had wonderful weather. There was only one day without visibility. We saw all the mountains from all the angles and was blown away every time. I’d actually scare my guide by screaming in excitement. My guide Pooja was absolutely wonderful. She was confident, supportive and so knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed her company, which was good because it was just us two for most of it! She reassured me, cheered me on and took care of me. Bossy in all the best ways. If you’re lucky enough to have her, she’ll make sure you have a wonderful experience and maybe even make a new friend. My porter Probin is also worth mentioning. He spent most of the trek with us and carried our bags! Sooo strong and such a great guy! I highly recommend both of them as well as the more general trek! Do it! You won’t regret it.

Couldn't Have Asked for a Better EBC Experience
We recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trek (All Inclusive) with Icicles Adventure Trek & Tours, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Prakash as our guide throughout the trek. From the very beginning, he made us feel safe, supported, and well looked after. Trekking at high altitude can be physically and mentally challenging, but Prakash was always attentive, regularly checking in and making sure everyone was doing well. Prakash was also very helpful in providing information about the trek and what to expect each day. He was always happy to answer questions and share his knowledge, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A special thank you as well to Indhira and the entire Icicles team! I would highly recommend Icicles Adventure Trek & Tours to anyone planning a trek in Nepal. Thank you for an amazing adventure!

Amazing company, highly recommended.
Amazing experience with Icicles, I couldn’t recommend them enough. Prior to booking Indira was on hand to answer all my questions promptly and effectively. It was very important to me to go for a local business. Booking, transfers and meet up went really well and communications excellent. Our guide Puja is an asset to the company, she went over and above her duties. Not only is she expert guide, she is great company and overall good fun. She looked after me when I got sick at base camp, ensuring we drank enough water, put on sun cream and she did a cracking French plait with my hair. Nurse, guide, mother and hairdresser what more could you ask for. She does like taking photos and shared these amazing shots with the group. A real bonus when you’re a solo traveler and often don’t get chance to take selfies. Would definitely book with Icicles again.

An incredible adventure with brilliant support
The Everest Base Camp Trek is a truely unforgetable experience. We were so grateful to Icicles for this fantastic and truely personalised adventure. Whilst the Treking groups for Icicles are smaller than other company's we were thankful that they were willing to run the trip for just the two of us. Lok our guide was incredibly supportive and full of advice for us throughout the Trek to help us to minimise the risk of altitude sickness and enjoy our trip to the fullest. We cant thank Lok or Rames (our porter) enough for their help throughout the trip enabling us to sit back and enjoy the Trek whilst in safe hands. We enjoyed so many of the voluntary activities included in the trip including the trip to the recycling centre with the carry back scheme and our highlight was the sunrise Trek to Kalipattar, seeing Mount Everest whilst the sun rose around us. It is an interesting Trek throughout full of incredible challenges and Lok and Rames were there throughout to provide all the support needed to assist with this whilst also sharing information about the area and their culture. I would highly recommend this trip and Icicles to anyone.
