Well organized Trek and Kathmandu tour
Too many beautiful things to say in a short review! If you are considering booking with Sunill, do it. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, open hearted, and experienced in all kinds of adventures in Nepal. Sunill organized a Manaslu Trek for me and my dad as well as personally toured us around Kathmandu, invited us to experience a festival with his family! It was our first time in the Himalayas and we always felt we had full information about the plan. Deep into the mountains our trek was impacted by bad weather and Sunill was able to pivot and help organize our safe return to Kathmandu. I had the time of my life despite the weather conditions which says a lot! I will be back to Nepal to hangout with Sunill :)
Response from the operator: Hi April! Thank you so much for such a lovely review of your experience of travelling with us in Nepal. We are glad to learn that you enjoyed your time in our beautiful country despite the bad weather conditions in the mountains. We are so sorry that the weather was not ideal for the best of the trekking adventure experience. Hopefully the weather will be in favor in your next adventure in Nepal. Look forward to hosting you again. 🙏

Amazing Trek in Nepal
I went to Poon Hill with other Solo Travelers and we had Sunil as our guide. It was an amazing trip. A lot of nature and mountain walking(Even some scary bridges ;- ) ). This was my first trekking trip and Im very happy it was with Sunil. He is very knowledgable, responsible and made it easy-going especially for someone like me who is very new to this. He also made sure to adapt to the group so we would feel that the trip is adjusted to our pace and spirit. We also did yoga on the way (as a bonus) which was highly appreciated. I warmly recommend Sunil and Classic Escapades. Thank you for this amazing trip.
Response from the operator: Dear Nima! Thank you so much for giving such a great review of your experience of travelling in Nepal with us. We are glad to learn that you loved and enjoyed trekking to Poon Hill and exploring other parts of Nepal. We look forward to take you on another adventure in future. Regards,

An Unforgettable Adventure in Nepal: Majestic Mountains and Warm Hospitality
I travelled solo with a group of Westerners guided by Sunil and was delighted with this first trip to Nepal. It was the end of October 2023. We were in Kathmandu for a few days, where Sunni took us on a tour of the city to explain a little more about the history and habits of the Nepalese. We then went to the mountains to make the trek from Poon Hill around the Annapurna mountains, over 5 days. Sunil is attentive and the little care with us, I felt safe throughout my trip. The mountain accommodation had everything you needed to be comfortable, and we ate extremely well too. Nepal is a country I highly recommend, and Sunil is an excellent guide to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
Response from the operator: Dear Molly! Thank you so much for writing such a great review of your experience of travelling with us in Nepal. We are so happy to know that you loved exploring mountains and cultures of Nepal with us. We look forward to showing you more of our beautiful country in the days to come. Regards,

Amazing tour of Nepal with Sunil
We had a fantastic experience with this tour of Nepal! We visited the Katmandu valley, the cities of Pokhara and Chitwan with our guide Sunil. Breathtaking views of the mountains and the countryside. Very interesting visits of the key monuments and religious sites, and fun activities all along. Thanks to Sunil's perfect command of English, his incredible knowledge of Nepal's history and culture and his sense of care, I had one of the best trip of my life.
Response from the operator: Namaste Sylvain! Thank you so much for such a lovely review of your tour experience with us in Nepal. It was our pleasure to take your around Nepal and offer you the experiences that Nepal has to offer. We are glad to know that you enjoyed your time in Nepal with us. We look forward to serving you again for another adventure in Nepal.

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Classic Nepal Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Classic Nepal Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Classic Nepal Tour take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Classic Nepal Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Classic Nepal Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Classic Nepal Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Classic Nepal Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Classic Nepal Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
