Unforgettable Day with Dream Tours Valencia!
From start to finish, this tour was pure magic. Before we even set off, Kiu—our incredible guide—was super communicative, giving us clear info on what to bring and what to expect, which made everything so easy. He picked us up right from our hotel and took us on an unforgettable adventure from Valencia to the Montanejos thermal springs and a hidden gem tucked away in the mountains. Kiu was kind, attentive, and passionate the entire day. You could feel how much he loves sharing the beauty and stories of this region. He kept us safe while also keeping things exciting—whether it was cliff jumping, swimming in a secret oasis, or just soaking in the stunning views. One of the best parts? Kiu went out of his way to capture the moments for us—taking amazing pictures at both stops (check out his Instagram: @dreamtours_valencia). We had great conversations throughout the day, and I learned so much about Valencia, Spain, and even myself. It was more than a tour—it was an experience I’ll never forget. Kiu gave us a real gift, and I genuinely feel like I made a friend for life. If you’re in Valencia and looking for an authentic, adventurous, and personal tour—you cannot go wrong with Dream Tours Valencia. Book it. You’ll be so glad you did.

Simply a must-do!
Incredible tour with a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Many tours in this area are with incredibly large groups and visit tourist heavy locations. Kiumars is a tremendous guide (and speaks 6 languages!) who takes smaller groups to see some incredible spots around the area. The black lagoon is a highlight of the tour and is the definition of a hidden gem. This tour takes you off the beaten path and also offers plenty of great opportunities for photos. This tour is a MUST DO if you get the chance!

Awesome Guide!
It was a BEST excursion I ever had! Kiu was so knowledgeable and dynamic. He really cared and made sure we have a fantastic experience. Throughout the journey he explained a lot about the history of the area, which I appreciate the learning experience, also don’t want to leave out Kiu’s musical knowledge that made this trip so joyful! I highly recommend Kiu and Dream tours for your next journey.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.
How much does Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters cost?
+
Prices start at $178 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.
Is Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Montanejos Black Lagoon and Healing Waters start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Valencia?
+
On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Valencia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Valencia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
