Montenejos, an alpine-style village just an hour from Valencia, is renowned for its thermal springs and picturesque hiking trails—an ideal destination for our day trip. Departing from near the heart of Valencia, our journey begins in a comfortable 9-seat air-conditioned minibus. Upon arrival in Montenejos, we'll start with a leisurely coffee before starting on our short hike to the Thermal Springs via the Cave Cueva Negra. The walk takes just over an hour and there is a chance do go inside this impressive cave. after our hike, we'll have the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate with a refreshing swim in the thermal pools of la Fuente de Los Baños. Finally on the way bacj to Valencia we will stop at the Beautiful waterfall, Salto de La Novia Pack your own lunch, wear sturdy walking shoes, apply sunscreen, bring a hat, carry around 1 litre of water and don your bathing costume if you plan to take a dip.

A great day out, with no stress or hassle. Door to door with a great itinerary and excellent communication when planning the day
Howard was very accommodating and his communication whilst we were in the UK via WhatsApp was great. We paid in a couple of installments and for 320 Euro we spent the whole day out and were driven right upto the sites we visited which was great for my dad who has dementia and struggles to walk long distances or on uneven ground. Howard allowed us to stop and grab coffees or snacks, it was very relaxed which made the experience even better.

Stunning views and magical swim!
Such a great day out! The trail loop in Montanejos has amazing views over the limestone gorge, finishing with a magical swim in the thermal springs — the perfect end to the day. I’ve been on several hikes with Howard now and have loved every one. He’s a stellar guide — knowledgeable and easygoing. The groups are always kept small enough to properly chat and meet people, and there’s a really nice balance between social time, hiking, and discovering beautiful places around Valencia you might never find on your own. Highly recommended!

Loving nature and coloreful people
I loved having this hike. Howard was thoughtful about the trip and had a structure for it, not forcing anything. He is a living encyclopedia, which only adds up to the hike itself. It felt more like hiking with a local, not with an expat.

It's such an amazing place!!! The views of the canyon are spectacular. The day hiking was great!! And the swimming at the end was the best!! I would really recommend this excursion. Howard is the best guide.
