An unforgettable 3-day jungle adventure with the best guides, Eka and Dedi!
We had the most incredible experience on our 3-day, 2-night jungle trek in Bukit Lawang, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better guides than Eka and Dedi! From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to make our adventure unforgettable. On our first day, we experienced extremely heavy rain, which usually makes spotting orangutans very difficult, as they tend to seek shelter. But Eka and Dedi refused to give up! Thanks to their determination and incredible knowledge of the jungle, we managed to spot a huge male orangutan on our very first day. What an incredible moment! Over the three days, we were lucky enough to see 9 orangutans in total! One of the absolute highlights was when a mother orangutan with her two babies came to visit us at our second camp, right in front of our accommodation. It was a truly magical experience that we will never forget. And the wildlife didn’t stop there! We also spotted numerous gibbons, Thomas’s leaf monkeys, pig-tailed macaques, monitor lizards, hornbills, and many other fascinating animals. Eka and Dedi knew the jungle incredibly well and always seemed to know where to look. They taught us so much about the rainforest, its wildlife, and the animals’ behavior, making the entire experience even more special. The food was another wonderful surprise! We were provided with three delicious meals every day, along with generous platters of fresh tropical fruit, tea, and plenty of snacks. We were honestly amazed by how well we were taken care of, especially considering we were deep in the jungle! What really made this adventure stand out, however, was Eka and Dedi themselves. Their passion for the jungle, their dedication, their kindness, and their determination to give us the best possible experience were truly exceptional. Even when the weather made things challenging, they stayed positive and made sure we had an amazing time. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip to Indonesia and an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. If you’re planning a jungle trek in Bukit Lawang, we cannot recommend Eka and Dedi highly enough. You will be in excellent hands! Thank you so much, Eka and Dedi, for these three unforgettable days and all the incredible memories!

Best experience of my life
It was by far the best experience of my life. I booked the 3D2N tour with my brother. Our guides dedi and eka did a great job and gave their best to make the trip unforgettable. We saw orang utans on all three days. In total we saw 5 different monkey species like gibbons and much more wildlife. The food was also amazing. A big big recommendation for monkey business tours and dedi and eka. We will come back for sure for another Trip. Thank you for everything!

Absolutely amazing! You must go!
Everything about this experience was nothing short of amazing. Our guides Nang Nang and Randy were phenomenal. They went at our pace and made sure to ask what we wanted to see and do and made sure we got to see everything. We saw so many orangutans and many other monkeys and we even got to see hornbills! We had so much good food and way more than we could ever eat. Bang Bang was an excellent cook. Everyone was thoughtful and made sure we were taken care of and had a great time. 100% would recommend!!

Life time experience trekking and seeing wildlife!
I'm a solo traveler from the States. This was a wonderful experience trekking in the jungle! It was definitely harder than I was expecting even after reading other reviews. Saw mom and baby orangutan, several different kinds of monkey. The guides were amazing and the customer service is excellent. The food was delicious and the accommodation at camp was comfortable. And you have to do the rafting, it was so fun! I was well taken care of, highly recommend Monkey Business as a tour company!

Magic jungle trekk!
Really good experience with nice guides. We saw orangutangs on multiple occations. Nang Nang and Dedy made our trip really great with a lot off laughter. We got spoiled with great food and fruit. It was tough and sweaty but a great experience with fantastic magic tricks and hard riddles! Nora, Christine and Micael🤘
