Mardi Himal is a short trek in Nepal. It is a small mountain peak with 5557m above sea level. But it needs peak climbing gears. This is in a very popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region. Mardi Himal is located just close to sacred Mount Fishtail (Machhapuchhare). Mardi Himal is a short trek in Nepal. It is a small mountain peak with 5557m above sea level. Mardi Himal Trek can start from three different points such as Kande, Kalimati and Siding. These are the points to starting the trek or one of the points to end. And also there is another point via Landruk to start or end the trek, it is the route for those trekkers who would like to do Annapurna south base camp trek. It will not be wrong if I say one of the best and short treks in Nepal.

Once in a life time adventure in Nepal
We had a unique life time experience in Nepal. The landascape is so amazing and people is so friendly and hearty that you wish to live there forever. Razu, the agency manager, is extremely profesional and supported us at any time (even when we had not have made the decision to hire their services) and Yadu, the local guide who speak almost perfect spanish, is a wonderful person who become our friend. Thanks to Yadu, we could engage with local people, learn about local plants and animals and dive deep on the country cultire, foods and customs. Thanks Yadu and Razu for everything. Carlos y Elos from Argentina anf Spain
Response from the operator: Dear Carlos and Elos, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review! We are truly touched by your kind words. It was an absolute pleasure assisting you and hosting your journey in Nepal. I will definitely pass along your warm message to Yadu—he was delighted to guide you and share our local culture, nature, and customs with you both. Thank you for trusting Nepal Kailash Trekking. We wish you the very best and hope to welcome you back to Nepal for another unforgettable adventure in the future! Warmest regards, Razu Gurung Owner, Nepal Kailash Trekking

Mardi Himal Trek! An epic trail
The Mardi Himal trek proved to be a unique trail, with spectacular sceneries and challenging ascents that make the adventure more meaningful and exciting. Raju and Chandra were well organized, friendly and enthusiastic and we had great time together. Raju is more a friend than a guide as we have trekked together before and he is someone you can reply on for your trips. Definitely recommended the trail and the company. Keep it up!
Response from the operator: Namaste Rody N, Thank you so much for your great review. It is glad to know your trek to Mardi Himal was meaningful and exciting with us. We do try our best in our services, keep continuing to serve you and your friends. Hopefully, see you again in next visit to Nepal. Best Regards, Raju Gurung

Mardi Himal Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Mardi Himal Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $859 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mardi Himal Trek take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Mardi Himal Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mardi Himal Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mardi Himal Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Mardi Himal Trek?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mardi Himal Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Mardi Himal Trek?
+
Included: Lunch; All Fees and Taxes; Dinner; In-vehicle air conditioning; and Breakfast. Not included: Personal expanses; International airfare; Your Travel Insurance; and Meals and accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Mardi Himal Trek include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 3 listed pickup locations in and around Kathmandu. Be ready about 180 minutes before the start time.
What languages is Mardi Himal Trek offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Mardi Himal Trek?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Mardi Himal Trek wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap; and Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
