Really nice experience in a Tanzania safari
Everything was very good. The guides are really nice and funny. The hotels are clean and the people working there are also very nice. We saw many animals despite we had a couple of days with rain. We enjoyed the trip a lot!
Response from the operator: Safari Magic—Rain or Shine! Dear Joel, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I am so glad that you enjoyed your time with us in Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater. I am particularly happy that you mentioned seeing many animals despite the rain. Many travelers are hesitant to book during the greener months, but as you experienced, the wildlife is still incredible, and the landscapes are stunningly beautiful and lush. I will be sure to pass your kind words on to our guides. They take great pride in being "nice and funny" while ensuring our guests have a safe and educational experience. We also appreciate your feedback on the cleanliness of the hotels; we hand-pick our 2026 lodge partners specifically for their high standards of service and hygiene. Thank you for choosing NatureBound Africa. We hope to see you again for another adventure soon! Warm regards, Eliya Tumaini Owner & Founder | NatureBound Africa natureboundafrica.com

Best value for your money, the smart choice
We booked our first safari with Nature Bond and can say we are very happy we choose them. We received very profesional and helpful advice and information from Eilya prior, during and after the safari( he even arrange transport from Kilimanjaro airport which was not included in the package and assisted with transportation in Zanzibar which we booked separate from the safari). The safari included 3 national parks during raining seasin on a african roads and we were very thankful we had a experienced and skillful driver/guide Jackson who took us through 1.5m water and mud. We manage to see the big 5 despite some challenging weather conditions. At night he shared so much of his knowledge with us that is probably the best part of the trip. The accomodations they offer exceeded our expectation and staff were very kind and helpful. Last but not least you get real value for your money as we paid 3 times less then other agency! I can go on and on but to keep it short we would definetely return and choose them as its the smart choice! !
Response from the operator: The "Smart Choice" for Value and Adventure! Dear Strongfitr, Thank you so much for this outstanding review! It is exactly the feedback we hope for, and we are incredibly proud to know that choosing NatureBound Africa was "the smart choice" for your first safari. We believe that exceptional experiences and value should not be mutually exclusive. I am pleased that my team could assist with logistics outside the package, from airport transport to Zanzibar arrangements—that is part of our commitment to seamless service. Your comments about our guide, Jackson, are fantastic. He is a true professional. Navigating 1.5m of water and mud while finding the Big 5 in the rainy season is a testament to his experience and skill! We are glad you enjoyed his company and his knowledge. As we move into the 2026 season, we want all potential travelers to know that you don't have to pay 3 times more for a luxury experience. We deliver professional, safe, and exciting adventures that exceed expectations without the luxury price tag. Thank you for your high recommendation. We look forward to welcoming you back for another smart choice safari soon! Warm regards, Eliya Tumaini Owner & Founder | NatureBound Africa natureboundafrica.com

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater cost?
+
Prices start at $230 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
