A Perfect Day
A boat tour is a great way to see a sample of Lisbon’s key sights. Luis and Vasco were wonderful from the moment they assisted us boarding and settled us in with wine or soft drink (remained available through the cruise). They were friendly and gave clear and interesting information about the various sights. They always looked out for our safety, for example advising us whenever another boat’s wake would impact us. I appreciated that we sailed to the far side of the river for a closer look at those sights. A tour a few years ago with a different company didn’t do that. As we returned to the dock Luís pointed out an excellent fish restaurant and advised us to hurry over for lunch. The recommendation was spot on.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re truly delighted to hear that your Lisbon day sailing cruise with Palmayachts was such a perfect experience. Seeing Lisbon from the Tagus River is a unique way to discover the city, and we’re glad you enjoyed the different perspectives of the waterfront and landmarks during your boat tour in Lisbon. Luís and Vasco will be very happy to know their friendliness, attention to safety, and historical commentary made such a positive impression. We always aim to create a relaxed, informative, and comfortable atmosphere on board while delivering a premium Lisbon sailing experience. We’re also pleased you appreciated sailing closer to the south side of the river for a better view of the sights — we believe these small details make our Lisbon boat tours even more special and memorable. And of course, we’re very happy the restaurant recommendation was a success too! 😊 Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. We hope to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable Lisbon sailing tour with Palmayachts.

Birthday surprise for my partner and
It's been a while since me and my partner went on this tour, but I couldn't not leave them a review! I booked it as one of various surprise birthday activities, and let me tell you how wonderful it was starting the day with stunning views and green wine (no one judged haha!) Our guide, Benedita was a very warm person, with immense love for her homecountry, which showed in her narration. She also answered a lot of extra questions for us, concerning both the history and more activities we could do. Hate to admit it, but we were a bit late, yet the staff was very patient and after proper communication, they gave us some extra time to arrive. Don't be like us though. I was also worried that we'd get sea sick, so I was careful about what we ate for breakfast, and took a pill for nausea; in the end everything was fine!
Response from the operator: Thank you, Katerina, for your thoughtful and detailed review. We’re delighted that your day cruise in Lisbon on the Tagus River was such a wonderful birthday surprise for your partner and the perfect start to the day. ⛵️🌞 Enjoying green wine, stunning views, and local history from the water truly makes this experience unforgettable. We also appreciate your kind words about our crew’s warm hospitality and flexibility — ensuring every guest feels relaxed and cared for is always our goal. We look forward to welcoming you both again soon for another Palmayachts sailing experience in Lisbon.

Steering this wonderful boat
This was our third time sailing with Palma Yachts and was absolutely the best yet. We booked onto a small group sailing but on arrival discovered we were the only couple booked on and so had the boat all to ourselves. As always the crew are so knowledgeable and full of historical facts about Lisbon. From start to finish this was a truly unforgettable experience and really not expensive. As there were no other paying members of the public on Board we were allowed to steer the yacht for a short while. a lovely touch that will always be remembered. If you haven't sailed with Palma Yachts its time you tried it.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Mark, for your continued trust and wonderful feedback. We are thrilled to hear that your third sailing experience in Lisbon with Palmayachts was the best yet. Having the yacht all to yourselves must have made it extra special, and it’s great to know the crew’s knowledge and historical insights about Lisbon made the cruise so memorable. Being able to steer the yacht is always a unique highlight, and we’re delighted it added to your unforgettable day on the Tagus River. We truly appreciate your loyalty and high recommendation, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon for another Palmayachts sailing tour in Lisbon.

Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink cost?
+
Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 96 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon Small Group Day Cruise with Historic Commentary & a Drink start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
