Excellent tour, highly recommend!
Tour was excellent and that is because of our wonderful guide Pedro who was so informative, kind and full of passion! He took time to learn all of our names and check in with us throughout. It was a full day of seeing the wonderful sights! There is a lot of walking so pack comfortable shoes! There was a nice balance of sightseeing and free time to explore the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend this trip!

We almost missed the bus...
This was an excellent tour, our guide Francisco went above and beyond - more on that later. I originally scheduled this tour for our first full day in Lisbon, but when our flight was cancelled I had to quickly change it, and the change process was very easy, fortunately they have a 24-hour cancellation/change policy. Once we finally got there, we all assembled early morning at Rossio Square and were divided onto groups based on language. The process was very smooth, with clear instructions given. Once we had our group together we walked just a little distance to meet our bus. Once on the bus Francisco explained that due to a bicycle race being held in Sintra, our itinerary would be changed a bit - instead of lunch in Sintra, we would be taken to Cascais and have lunch there instead of just driving through. I think that was actually better than the original itinerary. Cascais was much prettier and spacious as opposed to Sintra with it's crowed, messy alleys. (Note - apparently there was an option on this tour not to have tickets included, but really it's better if you opt in, it made it much easier, those without tickets ended up having to purchase them at the sites, which delayed their entry. The walking up to all of the sites was considerable, if you have mobility issues, this is not the tour for you. There are rough pathways and lots of steps, but well worth the effort when you get there. We still saw Sintra, Pena Palace and Quinta Regaleira as planned, we did not get to Cabo da Roca. This is where our guide proved to be one great guy. One woman kept asking when we would be going there, and he patiently explained several times to her that the itineray had changed, but he would be happy to help her arrange to go there either by bus, cab, Uber. She just didn't get it, and kept asking. Of course, when we got to the point where she would have been able to make the connections she needed, she wandered off and was nowhere to be found. This woman also delayed our departure from our first stop because she did not meet us at the spot where we were told to meet. Francisco gave her extra time to show up, but finally we had to leave, only to find her waiting at the bus stop. So clearly, she was a mess, but he was so patient with her! In spite of the itineray change, which I thought was handled well, this tour was very well run, and again, Kudos to Francisco!!!

Sintra Tour
Our guide Miguel was the best! He was very nice, knowledgeable and humorous. The tour is a long day and there is a lot of walking involved. But it’s worth it. You do need to pay a bus fee for the shuttle bus from where the bus drops you off since they do not allow any buses past that point. It was not mentioned in the tour description but it was emailed of the bus fee a few days before the tour. Regardless, we had a great time.

Ruth was a brilliant tour guide. She is very friendly and has the perfect personality for it. Their is a good bit of walking in this so be prepared but it is so worth it! The whole day was fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon 👌.

Everything You Want From a Tour
Simply put, fantastic tour. Organized, informative, well paced, humorous, and everything else you want from a tour. I will say that weather was certainly on our side for day of the tour too Catarina was our tour guide and was handling our large group with ease. Any minor hiccup was dealt with grace, including someone being sick on the bus. Her personality was super friendly so it made for an inviting atmosphere to ask plenty of questions (which she was happy to answer). She also gave her phone number out in case any questions or concerns came up during some free roam time. All in all, you’d be lucky to have her as a guide! Now as a few heads up, the city of Sintra had changed some of the automotive rules, so we did have to pay a few more euros (~3ish for a round trip) for a city bus to head into part of the town. Thankfully our timing made it so we didn’t have to wait for said buses (everything else ran by the company was like clockwork) Lastly, they do give us ear pieces to be able to hear our guide from a distance. But aware that in some of the pathways and buildings, the audio will cut out. Not much can be done with that but try to stay close to the guide when possible to avoid it! P.S. Shout out to Carlos too as our driver

Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included take?
+

Is Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 895 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included?

How far in advance should I book Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included?
+
Around 313 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 9.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
