Amazing guides and porters
The seven day hike to the top of Kilimanjaro through the Lemosho route was an amazing experience. The guides Confideus and Andrew (Confy and Andy), along with the porters (the Kili Fighters) were really what made the week so special. Every single one of the team was not only extremely professional and polite but also genuine and fun to spend the week with. The price for the trip was very fair considering all the services included. We had a spacious eating tent, high quality sleeping tents and amazing food every day. And the team made sure we had all the right equipment for every step of the way. Only negative thing I can think of is that sometimes the communication with the Suricata Safaris office was a bit difficult.
Response from the operator: We truly appreciate your kind review. It’s wonderful to hear that your safari was memorable and enjoyable. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back someday.

Amazing experience
Our 7 day Lemosho route as two couples was an amazing experience. Guides, porters, chef and the whole group were lovely people and service was top notch. Food was surprisingly good even at high altitude! We have a fond memory of the trip and would recommend going to Kilimanjaro with Suricata for others too.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your safari and had a memorable experience. It was a pleasure hosting you in Tanzania, and we hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Suricata Safaris is the best
We had the best experience with Suricata Safaris in Lemosho 7d Kilimanjaro hike. We travelled by group of four friends and everything went smoothly from start till very end. It was amazing how delicious food you are able to have in such high altitudes. We had the luxury to just to concentrate on trekking and immersing on the wonderful views as our guides and porters took care of everything. When arriving to camp there were tents assembled and hot tea available. I’d like share my appreciation to our wonderful guider Confi and Andrew. Thank you!
Response from the operator: Your feedback means a lot to us thank you! We’re glad you had an enjoyable and smooth safari experience. Wishing you all the best, and we hope to see you again in Tanzania.

Experience of a lifetime
We (group of 4) did Lemosho 7 day trecking route to Kilimanjaro and all in all the experience was amazing. The personel were true professionals and lovely people. They did everything they could to ensure us reaching the summit. Porters took total care of our duffel bags, tents and meals for example. The porters worked very hard and they are such wonderful people. Special thanks to our guides Confi and Andrew who really did everything they could for us. An experience that I will forever remember with happiness.
Response from the operator: Many thanks for sharing your safari experience. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the wildlife and cultural encounters. Thank you for choosing our company, and safe travels wherever your next adventure takes you.

Caio and Carol climbing with Suricata
It was an incredible experience, the team was very attentive even before starting the trail. Our guide Modest met us at the hotel we were in to make sure we had all the necessary equipment for the trekking. I had never seen such attention to detail, I only recommend that the Suricata team send a checklist of necessary equipment in advance, because if some equipment for trekking was missing, there would be no more time to acquire it. Throughout the trekking, the team and our guides were super attentive, cheerful and kept pace according to our needs. They respected our rhythm, requests for rest and stops for photos. They have total sensitivity in understanding that it is a special moment for us. I just want to thank these people for making it possible to conquer Uhuru Peak. I really recommend this crew, you can bet it will be amazing to share days with these people.
Response from the operator: We truly appreciate your kind review. It’s wonderful to hear that your safari was memorable and enjoyable. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back someday.

Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro cost?
+
Prices start at $2800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lemosho Route 7 Days Trekking at Mount Kilimanjaro start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
