    Kathmandu celebrates Visit Nepal 2020

Overall, we were satisfied with the organization of our trip. Dev was quick to respond and responded to our request. When we cancelled our overnight Kathmandu, Dev immediately refunded us the amount. In general, the guides hired in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur were competent and professional. We stayed one night in Chandragiri Hills because we just wanted to see and touch the sky but not stay another night at the location as there is nothing else to do and you are stuck in the hotel. We went for 3 full days in the Kathmandu Valley and just see all the memorable sights.

    Exploring Bhatapur Durbar Square

Nepal for me has always been for the "High Mountains" and i can never get enough of it. But this time around, I spent enough time exploring the heritage towns, Nepalese food, spiritual stupas, sustainable travel in Everest ranges, experiential stays, national parks, and ethnic tribes in different parts of the country. Nepal's diversity is intriguing and i haven't explored enough. Bhaktapur Durbar Square - another royal square of the historic kingdom is a UNESCO world Heritage site, for the obvious reasons. The myths were exciting and was told in excellent way by Bishal, i admired this pace much. I loved being at Nepal and wish to spend few more days!

    The colorful Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu is a large city with varied cultural significance. You could see many monuments, temples and stupas around. The colors of Nepal are these prayer flags around temples, stupas and in all mountains. Each color means an element: blue is the sky, white is the air, red is the fire, green is the water and yellow is the earth. They promote peace, compassion, strength and wisdom and create a lot of color wherever they want. I had a great time at Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, Nagarkot and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Response from the operator: Estimados Geliks! Saludos desde Travel Pinto. Muchas gracias por su tiempo de espera para la revisión. Estamos contentos con su buena experiencia de viaje. Estamos orgullosos de ser confiables. Le deseamos buenos días por delante. ¡Cuídate! Namaste! Aryan D Departamento de Administración General y Relación de Invitados

    Cultural city

I got tons of information about the culture of Nepal and good people living out there, as I explored the Kathmandu valley. So if you are going Himalayas trek I highly recommend to do Kathmandu valley sightseeing and learn some cultures of Buddhism.

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing?

    +

Included: English Speaking Guide; and Private car. Not included: Entrance Fees; Personal Expenses; and Anything not included in Inclusion section. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Where is the meeting point for Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing?

    +

Traveler will find us at Paknajol Marg by following google map. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller; and Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing if the weather is bad?

    +
