Amigo Trek: the trustworthy partner for tailor made trip in the region

Amigo Treks, Niti Sharma & team, are specialised in tailor made trips in Nepal, Bhutan, India and Tibet. The team organised an impeccable trip for us and it was quite complicated, because we included a lot of activities and trekking. Niti & team organised any small details and we can not complain for anything. In the contrary, we would like to thank for the incredible flexibility to make last minute changes of program. In addition, we did not have any experience before with Amigo, but we booked quite a long trip, therefore a substantial amount to pay. Amigo makes us paying only a part of the trip and we paid the remaining in Kathmandu. We found this fact very trustworthy and credible, especially if we have to cancel of change dates. This convinced us from the beginning, that even if Amigo is an online platform, it is trustworthy. Then after the impeccable organisation, we are so glad, that we did not have any stress at all for anything and we could fully enjoy our holiday. Of course such special service has also a price, but it is nothing compared to how Amigo did our life so easy and our holiday so smooth. Thanks so much Niti and all the guys contributing for such unforgettable memories. We are going to come back with more hiking, serious hiking :-). This was only the appetiser. Big hug Nina and Gabry

Response from the operator: Thank you, Nina and Gabry, for such a heartfelt and detailed review! We are beyond delighted to hear about your wonderful experience with Amigo Treks and Expedition. It was truly our pleasure to organize your tailor-made adventure across Nepal, India, and Tibet, ensuring every detail was taken care of to make your trip seamless and enjoyable. Your kind words about our flexibility, trustworthiness, and attention to detail mean a lot to us. We understand how important it is to feel confident when booking a trip, especially one as extensive as yours, and we’re thrilled that we could meet and exceed your expectations. We’re so happy to hear you fully enjoyed your holiday stress-free and are already planning to come back for more serious hiking! We can’t wait to welcome you back and help you create even more unforgettable memories. Until then, big hugs from the entire Amigo team, and thank you once again for trusting us with your adventure.

Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $267 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour?

    +

Included: 3 night’s accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast; Dinner; In-vehicle air conditioning; and Breakfast. Not included: Nepal arrival Visa; Fly to in Nepal and fly out from Nepal; Your meals at Kathmandu except Breakfast; and All required monument entrance fees. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 350 listed pickup locations in and around Kathmandu. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
