Amazing 4 day Safari
Safari was excellent with Samuel as our guide, 4 days covering all of the highlights of Northern Tanzania. We did see the “big 5” up close, but it wouldn’t have mattered if we hadn’t, because it it was fascinating and educational. The scenery is magnificent and diverse, so even when we had periods of less animal watching, there was plenty of stuff to learn about the flora - and culture!
Response from the operator: Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are pleased to hear that your safari met your expectations and that you enjoyed exploring the highlights of Northern Tanzania. It is wonderful that you were able to experience the diverse scenery and find the educational aspects of the local flora and culture rewarding. Samuel will be glad to receive your kind words regarding his guiding and insights throughout the four days. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again in the future. Warm regards The Team at Beach & Safari Holidays

Great holiday in the area
We just returned from a 14 day trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar (9 days Safari and 3 days Zanzibar) and it was unforgettable! Everything was perfectly arranged, the Lodge were spotless and the food delicious everywhere. What a nice people all! Very very friendly and we also especially want to take our guide Elly here! He was very friendly and it was very cozy, He knew a lot to tell about the plants, animals, the Maasai and had answers to all our questions. He knew his way around very well and drove fantastically. He tried very hard to find the animals and we would definitely recommend him! The cars Paradise and Wilderness drives are new and in excellent condition. The hot lunches that were brought in a picnic basket were also delicious and you could notice that many guides from other companies were jealous of our delicious lunches. Many had a lunch box with bread. Zanzibar was also very nice and lovely to end the holiday relaxed. We were sorry that in our all inclusive hotel Bay resort had to be paid separately for one cappuccino. But otherwise it was all great in a word!
Response from the operator: Dear Valued Guest, It is incredibly rewarding to hear such great feedback about your time out in nature. We love knowing that the spotless accommodations, excellent vehicles, and hot picnic lunches made your journey so special. It is wonderful that your relaxing days on the coast provided the perfect wrap-up to your holiday, and we appreciate your note regarding the resort amenities. We will gladly share your compliments with Elly, because every single member of our staff works hard to ensure our guests travel safely while learning about the local wildlife and culture. We would love to welcome you back for another magnificent wilderness experience in the future! Best regards The Team at Beach & Safari Holidays

A wonderful tour through Tanzania and Zanzibar!
Last September we went to Tanzania and Zanzibar with a group trip for 16 days. The experience was phenomenal in one word. Spotting wildlife, the endless vistas, beautiful landscapes and the most amazing accommodations made this a top trip! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get to know Tanzania under the right guidance and with the necessary comfort. The group was fantastically supervised by Anouk, who really felt part of our group for us. We look back on a great trip and experience and we would go so again!

Wonderful Holiday! Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful vacation. From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged. The hotels / accommodations and the food were very good. But the most beautiful and impressive part was ofcourse the safari for a few days. Our guide/driver Denis Kawa did a great job and showed us everything ( including the big five!) and told us a lot. All credits to Denis!
Response from the operator: Dear Anja, Thank you for sharing your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your vacation was perfectly arranged and that you enjoyed the hotels, accommodations, and food. We’re especially pleased that your safari was such a memorable highlight and that Denis Kawa provided exceptional guidance, helping you see the Big Five and sharing his extensive knowledge. All your compliments will be passed on to him! We look forward to welcoming you on another adventure. Warm regards, The Team at Beach & Safari Holidays

Amazing safari!
The safari at lake Natron, Serengeti and Ngorongoro was amazing. We saw a lot of animals with our experienced guide (Kiaka). He (and a Massaai guide) tought us a lot about the culture, landscape and animals living in Tanzania. Everybody was very kind and welcoming. The resort at Reef & Beach was also amazing with again kind people who did everything to make you feel at home. However we would NOT recommend taking a tour with crabtours. The dolphin part of the tour is allright but on the edge because the dolphins get around 20 boats circling them which feels a bit stressed for them. But what they do with the seaturtles is pure animal abuse. Do not support this. People pick the turtles up by one leg to let tourist take pictures and they are not free turtles but in captivaty. We where there for 2 minutes en then left right away feeling disgusted that we paid for this. Also the service was not good. We paid twice due to an error in their machine but we had to go back up to 5/6 times to finally get our money back and even then they tried not to give back the full amount so i had to go back again!
Response from the operator: Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent safari and resort experience. We’re thrilled to hear that your safari to Lake Natron, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro was amazing and that Kiaka, along with the Maasai guide, enriched your journey with their knowledge and insights. It’s great to know that their expertise and the warm hospitality at Reef & Beach Resort made your stay enjoyable. However, we are genuinely sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with Crabtours. Your concerns about the treatment of sea turtles and the overall service are deeply troubling. We take such matters seriously and will ensure that your feedback is forwarded to the relevant authorities to address these issues. Thank you again for sharing your experiences, both positive and negative. Your insights are invaluable in helping us improve and ensure that our guests have the best possible experiences. How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
