Outstanding 3-Day Safari with a Local Tanzanian Company
We booked our three-day safari with Rioba Safari because the company made the best overall impression in terms of customer service, communication and professionalism. They were not the cheapest provider, but the booking process was quick, uncomplicated and very well organised. Our itinerary started and ended on Zanzibar: Day 1: Tarangire National Park, overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater, overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park, followed by our return to Zanzibar The entire safari experience was fantastic. Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara each offered completely different landscapes and wildlife experiences, making the itinerary varied and exciting from beginning to end. Our guide was a major part of what made the trip so enjoyable. He was friendly, positive, easy-going and professional. We had a lot of fun together, felt comfortable at all times and enjoyed three unforgettable days. The safari vehicle was excellent, the equipment was comfortable, and the food and drinks provided during the journey were very well suited to the trip. Everything we needed was available, allowing us to focus entirely on the wildlife and the experience. We also appreciated that Robas Safari is a genuinely Tanzanian-owned and operated company. Booking directly with a local provider means that more of the money remains in Tanzania and supports the local economy, guides, drivers, accommodation providers and their families. We were extremely happy with our safari and would recommend Robas Safari without hesitation. Thank you to Joseph, Bankres and the entire team for this memorable experience.

Safari discovery
When we booked to go to Zanzibar we knew we wanted to include a safari trip in Tanzania. Knowing where to start was really challenging as there are so many options to choose from. After looking at some comparison sites we chose Riobas Safari for our 3 day trip. Jonas was able to provide itineraries to choose from and we chose visiting 3 parks over 3 days. This was so much better value for money than just a one or two day option. The price included flights, 2 nights accommodation, food and entrance to the parks with a guide/driver. The trip was perfect from start to finish, everything had been thought through and we felt well and truly looked after. The parks were amazing, as was our stay at Ikumbi Lodge. The food provided was lovely and the service was excellent. Eric our driver was diligent and extremely knowledgeable and fun. We honestly thought this would be a one off safari experience that we could cross off the list. But we're all hooked and desperate to book to go to the Serengeti. Highly recommend this safari option and I would use them again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing Rioba Safaris. We are delighted to hear that your safari experience exceeded your expectations from start to finish. It’s great to know you enjoyed the parks, your stay at Ikumbi Lodge, and the service from Eric. Your kind words truly mean a lot to us. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next adventure to the Serengeti National Park soon!

Amazing!
We visited Tarangin, Ngorongoro, and Lake Mayara during our three-day safari. It was fantastic! Our guide was an excellent naturalist and animal expert❤. I'm grateful. The Lagde Marera Valley was equally amazing! We heartily endorse 😁😁

Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Explore Tarangire Manyara and Ngorongoro in 3 Days Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
