Fun day

Really good tour. Tour guides were great! Food was good. The combo tour was great if you want to do a lot of activities in one day, you dont get a lot of time at each place

Never again, horror story. 2 cancelations from the excursion company with no valid explanation.

Arrived at the airport and immediately received a call that my excursion had been cancelled and if I was ok changing days, I said yes and the next day I received a text telling me that they did not offer that excursion from my hotel. If I was ok doing a different excursion. I cancelled and never got to go on an excursion. I had booked the original one weeks prior. When they rescheduled me did they not realize they didn't offer the excursion? Horrible service never got to go anywhere, 0 stars.

Got a lot for the money!

Luis the tour guide was great. Taught us a lot about ancient Mayan culture. The lunch made by locals was fantastic. The only thing I can say that may effect some is that we were actually gone for 14 hours! Some were upset but we were happy.

Educational and exciting!!

The tour guides were amazing! They were very personable and knowledgeable in answering our questions. The only bad part was that it took 3 1/2 hours to get to Tulum from the time they picked us up at our hotel because we had so many stops to pick up others and had to switch from a van to a bus. It took awhile but the tour was with it. The long drive would’ve been difficult for small children.

Response from the operator: We appreciate your comments the drive time to the Tulum Zone depends a lot on the hotel location and logistics, we are really glad you had a great time on this tour and also that all your questions were answered for your guides.

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Playa del Carmen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
