Well Organized Auschwitz tour.
Well organized tour. Picked us at hotel in Mercedes van and proceeded to Auschwitz. Stopped along the way for drinks and break. Met at Auschwitz with tour personnel and entered seamlessly. The tour guide for Auschwitz was really informative and the entire experience was eye opening. After a bag lunch which we purchased as part of tour, we proceeded by our van to Birkenau where our tour guide again lead around the site and explained the brutal history of the huge camp. Very well pleased with our trip, driver and tour group. Recommend highly.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and recommendation! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and were pleased with our driver, transportation, and overall organization. It’s great to know that our guides helped make your visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau such an informative and meaningful experience. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back to Kraków in the future! 😊

Humbling Experience
What an absolutely humbling experience this was. Birkenau in particular is haunting and despite there being a lot of tour groups walking around it felt silent. Many people including myself were distressed by what they saw and heard; it truly is something I believe will affect everyone who visits. Our guide Magda was so informative and so knowledgeable and we learned so much from her about both camps. The organisation of the tour was well done, from our pick up with Lucas to being delivered back to our hotel safe and sound. Also, we felt the price point was excellent. We are glad we did the tour and had the opportunity to pay our respects and honour the millions who had their lives taken from them in such a horrific and barbaric way. I would for sure recommend the tour to others who may be thinking about it.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your heartfelt review and recommendation. We are truly glad that our team helped make your visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau well organized and meaningful. We will be delighted to pass your kind words on to Magda for her informative and knowledgeable guiding, and to Lucas for ensuring a safe and comfortable transfer from your hotel and back. Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau is a deeply moving experience, and we appreciate your words about the importance of remembering and honouring the victims. We are grateful that you chose our Auschwitz tour from Krakow and that you were satisfied with the organization, transportation, and overall value of the experience. Thank you for recommending our tour to other travellers. It means a great deal to our team. #AuschwitzBirkenau #AuschwitzTour #AuschwitzFromKrakow #KrakowTours #GuidedTour #SmallGroupTour #HotelPickup #HistoricalTour #Viator #BookingCom #KrakowExcursions

Good walking shoes, a lot...
Well-organized trip. A lot of walking so comfortable shoes. It can be disturbing and emotional, to know for children.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We are pleased to hear that you found our Auschwitz-Birkenau tour well organized. Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau is a deeply moving and educational experience. As you rightly mention, there is quite a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are highly recommended. The visit can be particularly emotional for children, and we believe it is important to approach this historical site with sensitivity and respect. Thank you for choosing our Auschwitz tour from Krakow. We appreciate your recommendation and hope you had a meaningful experience. #AuschwitzBirkenau #AuschwitzTour #KrakowTours #AuschwitzFromKrakow #GuidedTour #HistoricalTour #SmallGroupTour #Viator #BookingCom #KrakowExcursions

Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan cost?
+
Prices start at $28 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 90 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 705 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan?
+
Around 247 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Ticket Hotel Pickup Minivan start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow to Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Transfer and Ticket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
