Best African Safari Experience
Excellent safari! Thank you to Raymond, our guide, and to Takims staff for a pleasant and adventurous journey. Arusha Coffee Lodge, Tangerine Treetops Lodge and Serengeti Migration Camp Lodge provided 5 star lodging, food, service, and extras. The hospitality was top notch. We were a group of 4 (2 couples ) taken to 3 different locations in Tanzania to see up close a total of 42 animals which included The Big Five, Carnivores, Herbivores, Primates, and Birds. We even saw 2 sets of animals mating! I highly recommend choosing Takims Holidays and requesting Raymond as your guide. I express my gratitude to this travel agency! Elizabeth Harpine Texas USA

Unforgettable journey met top guide Masatu
We had a wonderful safari with the best guide we could have imagined. Masatu had 17 years’ experience and knew all the best spots for spotting animals. He also took our needs into account (such as toilet stops) and was more than happy to answer all our questions about the animals. The comfortable jeep had a roof that could be raised, so we could see everything clearly. A top guide!!!! An unforgettable safari for our family. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

serengeti and ngorongoro crater On May 2026
We had an outstanding experience with Takims Holidays. They arranged an excellent professional guide, Nixon, who gave very knowledgeable explanations about the animals and knew exactly where to find them so that we could take amazing photos. He was extremely friendly and warm, and made us feel very well taken care of throughout the entire trip. All the transfers and transportation services were organised in a very professional way. This company is truly worth recommending.

Exceptional Safari Experience with Professional Service in Tanzania
We had a wonderful experience with Takims Holidays during our recent visit to Tanzania. The team was highly professional and ensured smooth coordination throughout our stay. The safari arrangements in Tarangire and Ngorongoro were exceptional – well-planned, comfortable, and truly memorable. Their attention to detail and hospitality made the overall experience even better. We truly appreciate their support and look forward to continuing our collaboration. Highly recommended for both travel and professional services.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Arusha National Park Private Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does Arusha National Park Private Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $64 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Arusha National Park Private Safari take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is Arusha National Park Private Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 68 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Arusha National Park Private Safari?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Arusha National Park Private Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Arusha National Park Private Safari?
+
Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Arusha National Park Private Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
