Unforgettable safari.

It was a fantastic experience thanks to Meru Slopes' excellent organization. Slopes Leonard assisted us during the planning and defined a perfect itinerary for our needs. Everything was extremely precise and comfortable, from the airport pick-up to the final drop-off. Moody was our guide throughout the Safari and knew how to show us all the most beautiful areas of Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Thanks to him, we saw all the big 5 as well as wildebeests, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, and everything the parks have to offer. The Serena lodges are well-maintained and in magnificent locations Thank you Leonard and Moody, a fantastic experience!!

Response from the operator: Grazie mille per la vostra bellissima recensione! Siamo felici che tutto sia stato ben organizzato e confortevole. Leonard e Moody saranno davvero contenti di sapere di aver reso il vostro safari speciale. Speriamo di rivedervi presto in Tanzania!

The great migration

An Amazing Safari Experience I had an incredible safari experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone traveling to Tanzania! Our guide Joel was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, responsible, and genuinely funny. Thanks to him, we were the first to spot a leopard resting in a tree, and he always found us amazing viewing spots. Within the first two days in the Serengeti, we had already seen almost all the animals on our list, and we were incredibly lucky to witness the wildebeest migration! Edson, our driver, was also amazing. He was not only a great driver but also always knew where to find authentic, delicious, and affordable local food, which made the trip feel much more local and memorable. And a big thank you to Ignas, who was incredibly responsive and responsible throughout the trip. Whether I messaged him at 5 AM or midnight, he always replied quickly and helped me find a solution. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review we’re delighted your safari exceeded expectations. Joel, Edson, and Ignas will truly appreciate your kind words. We hope to welcome you again. Warm regards, Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris

Perfectly organized and with the best guide you could wish for!

Our 7-day safari in Tanzania was simply an unforgettable experience and definitely one of the most beautiful adventures we have ever had. From the pickup at the airport to the last day, everything was excellently organized. All transfers went smoothly and the selected lodges were beautiful. The staff at every accommodation was exceptionally friendly, warm, and made sure that we felt comfortable at all times. A big thank you goes to Leonard Mkwavi for the great organization of the trip. However, our guide Elbarik deserves the greatest praise. With his warm, humorous, and incredibly friendly manner, he made our safari something very special. His knowledge of Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park was impressive. He always knew exactly where the animals were, and thanks to his experience, we were able to observe an incredible number of animals – including some rare species. At the same time, he explained many exciting things to us about the wildlife, nature, and the national parks, so that every game drive was a real highlight. Throughout the entire trip, you could tell how much Elbarik loves his job and with how much passion he is committed to giving his guests unforgettable moments. Exactly this passion made our safari a unique experience. We can unreservedly recommend this safari and the entire team. Thank you very much for this perfect trip – we will remember this wonderful week for a long time and hope to return to Tanzania one day.

Amazing Big 5 honeymoon safari

My husband and I booked the '7-Day Honeymoon & Serena Experience to Big 5 Safari' with Meru Slopes and had an amazing time. We worked with Almachius for the booking, and the entire process was seamless. The safari itself exceeded our expectations. We visited three national parks—the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. Our guide, Patrick, was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and successfully helping us spot the Big 5! We stayed in four different Serena hotels, where the accommodations were wonderful and the staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special. . I would definitely recommend Meru Slopes for an unforgettable safari experience.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
