Safaris and cultural experiences were great memories that we will cherish forever.
My girlfriend and I recently completed our seven-day Tanzania safari with HERBIVORE. The entire trip was wonderfully organized by Herbivore African Expeditions, and our guide's passion for wildlife and conservation made each journey even more interesting. The accommodations were comfortable, the transportation was reliable, and our guide made every day enjoyable with his fascinating stories and extensive knowledge of wildlife. We returned home with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for Tanzania. It was an unforgettable adventure, one that we would happily recommend to anyone. We left Tanzania grateful for these experiences.

Our 7 day experience we will always remember.
This 7-day Tanzania safari was very peaceful and perfectly organized by HERBIVORE AFRICAN EXPEDITIONS. Specially thanks Simon he was well planned and making our journey easy safe and comfortable. Tarangire National Park was a great start, with large herds of elephants roaming freely and countless species of birds to be seen. The Serengeti was simply breathtaking. We spent hours watching wildlife in their natural habitat, including lions resting under acacia trees and cheetahs prowling across the plains. Each safari drive brought new surprises. Lake Eyasi offered a completely different perspective on Tanzania. Visiting local tribes and learning about their daily lives was both educational and inspiring. It gave our children a valuable opportunity to experience a culture very different from their own. The accommodations were comfortable, the food was excellent, and the overall organization was seamless. The professionalism of our guide and the smooth logistics made the trip stress-free. We returned home with incredible photos, wonderful memories, and a stronger connection as a family.

Tanzania so Close You Could Touch Them
Simon and his team were amazing. They provided us with “reach out and touch them” close encounters with Tanzania’s wildlife in a professional, safe, and respectful way. They also provided an academic level education in the bush. They had field guides for more details and binoculars for viewing. The trucks were capable, clean and new.

It was our safari adventure and cultural experience.
Our 7-day Tanzania adventure was an incredible journey with my whole family. Over seven days, we explored some of the most wonderful landscapes while also connecting with local cultures. Our guide Clinton Cliff was knowledgeable, patient, and great with the children. Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro was beautiful views and thrilling wildlife actions we saw. Visiting Lake Eyasi and meeting local tribes added a completely different dimension to the experience. We really observed their lifestyle and really appreciate. Herbivore African Expeditions everything was organized smoothly, and we felt safe and we were very satisfied with them.

Hakuna Matata, trip with herbivore african expeditions
We were picked up from the airport as promised and provided with camping equipment, food, and drinks. It was our 1st time visiting Africa, exploring with our professional guide Gasper he made every moment enjoyable and we were excited to explore the Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Eyasi. First we started Tarengire where we could find herds of elephants, then next Serengeti National Park we witnessed a lot of wild animals and we really enjoyed the thrilling actions. The safari part of the trip was incredible when we entered the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. We saw a wide range of wildlife, including the Big Five. Finally Lake Eyasi gave us a deeper cultural insight that made the trip feel complete. The 7 day journey was an unforgettable experience.

7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures cost?
+
Prices start at $1905 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7 Day Tanzania Adventure of Wildlife and Tribal Cultures start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
