Peru giving you the WOW factor

What an amazing time we had in Peru. Nichelson was our guide for our group of 13 for 8 days. We did so many things together and visited so many places it was brilliant. Nichelson had an amazing knowledge of everything and made you feel the Inca spirit living in you at Machu Picchu still. I hope whoever reads this has just as magical time in Peru as we did and if you get Nichelson as your guide then thats an added bonus. Vamos as Nick would say.

Luis’ guiding skills made every moment of this trip special

Luis was our guide for 3 days while our small group tour from Australia explored the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu and he was wonderful! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his country’s history, its agriculture, customs and traditions, and the wonderful Peruvian people. His English language skills are outstanding, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I have been wanting to visit this part of the world for many years and he made every moment special.

Lima, Sacred Valley and Cusco

We had the most wonderful trip, guided by kind, caring and knowledgable Valencia staff throughout. The tour to Machu Picchu was of course the highlight, and Jose looked after us very well, as he did throughout the Sacred Valley and Cusco. He made sure the pace was right for everyone, so we could all enjoy the experience. He was funny and kind, and became a key part of our trip, and will be remenbered by us all with with great fondness . He was ably assisted by our driver, Richard, who was always prompt and polite. In Lima I must mention our excellent guide Franz, and the most marvellous Erica who was calm and professional in a crisis! Our flight to Cusco was cancelled, but she just sat us all down and went off to ensure we got booked onto alternative flights later that day. We saw so much during our tour that it really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so thank you Valencia Travel for the arrangements and many thanks also to your fabulous staff.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your trip and that our team, including José, Richard, Franz, and Erica, made your journey special. Your kind words inspire us to continue providing exceptional service. We hope to welcome you again in the future for more unforgettable adventures. Thank you for choosing Valencia Travel

The Ultimate Machu Picchu experience

From our first meeting at Cusco Airport our Tour Guide Jose has been indispensable. He has wowed us with his expansive knowledge on all things Inca: history, society, rituals, horticulture, astronomical, medical and architectural. His attention to detail, care for our health and welfare and his total commitment to our enjoyment of this tip has been simply amazing. I wish everyone that visits this region are fortunate enough to to get a guide half as good as our guide José, as both he and our excellent coach driver Richard are a winning combination and a sure fire way to get the ultimate Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Cusco experience. Thank you guys my wife and I are eternally grateful.🙏🏻

Response from the operator: We’re so happy to hear that your experience was unforgettable! José’s incredible knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication to your well-being and enjoyment perfectly showcase the level of care we aim to provide. It’s fantastic that he brought the fascinating history and culture of the Inca civilization to life for you. Together with Richard’s expert driving, they make an outstanding team. We’re thrilled that you and your wife had such an enriching journey through Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and Cusco. Your kind words mean so much to us!

7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does 7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1,145 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is 7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 44 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour?

+

Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7-Day: Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu Group Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
