Privilege. Experience. Pleasure!
First, I have to mention that we completed our trip in three days, exactly as planned. AB Expeditions went out of their way to accommodate us and make this possible, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. From the moment we started working with them, everything was excellent. Communication was easy and efficient, and they always responded to our questions quickly. The lady who did our briefing before the trek was extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful, which immediately made us feel comfortable and well prepared. Our guide, Felipe, was absolutely fantastic. He had such a great sense of humour, while still being very professional and taking his job seriously. He made sure that all our needs were met throughout the trek, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He was also an excellent photographer! He handled a group of laughing women with endless photo requests with a smile and incredible patience, always going the extra mile to capture the perfect shot. The food was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. We ate like royalty! We honestly could not believe the quality of the meals that were prepared for us at such high altitudes — beautifully presented, delicious cuisine in the middle of the mountains. A huge thank you to everyone who made this experience so special, especially the friendly and hardworking porters who carried such heavy loads so that we could enjoy our journey. We truly appreciate everything they did for us. We had an incredible time and will always remember this adventure with very fond memories.

The best trekking company and team!
We booked the four-day Inca Trail with AB Expeditions, and I honestly cannot recommend this company highly enough. They have absolutely nailed every aspect of the experience. We were incredibly lucky to have Gio as our guide. His extensive knowledge of the trail, the history and the Inca culture was exceptional, and his hospitality throughout the trip could not have been better. Chef Moises somehow managed to produce the most incredible, fresh and delicious food for us every day on the trail. I still have no idea how it is possible to carry everything up into the mountains and prepare meals of that quality in such remote conditions. The food was genuinely outstanding. Major and the team of porters were equally amazing. They were such a great group of guys, always working incredibly hard and somehow always doing it with the biggest smiles on their faces. Unfortunately, we experienced two days of unusually heavy rainfall, especially considering we were travelling during the dry season. The rain was so severe that sections of the Inca Trail had to be closed for four days to allow the water levels to drop and for repairs to be carried out. This is where Gio and the AB Expeditions team really showed just how good they are. After making a few phone calls and quickly reorganising everything, we backtracked along the trail, took the train around the affected section and were still able to complete the final part of our journey as planned. They went far beyond what we could ever have expected to make sure we had the best possible experience despite circumstances completely outside their control. This really is an incredible team. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. In fact, the only disappointing part is that we were unable to complete every section of the trail because of the weather, which has simply given us a reason to come back and do it all again with Gio, Moises, Major and the rest of this fantastic team. An absolutely incredible and memorable experience. We could not recommend AB Expeditions more highly.

An Unforgettable Inca Trail Experience with AB Expeditions
We had the most incredible experience hiking the Inca trail to Machu Picchu with AB Expeditions and cannot recommend them highly enough. Despite the flash floods unprecedented in August creating unexpected challenges, the AB team went above and beyond to create the best possible plan for us. They adapted everything seamlessly while still ensuring that we had an unforgettable experience. Their professionalism, care and attention to detail were exceptional from start to finish. A special mention must go to Moisés, whose food was absolutely outstanding. It was genuinely mind-boggling to experience food of such incredible quality and variety being prepared in the middle of the mountains. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. We also want to give a huge thank you to the porters, who worked incredibly hard carrying heavy loads and setting up and packing down camp each day. The service was exceptional, and the little touches, including flowers on the table, made the experience feel truly special. And finally, a very special thank you to our guide, Gio. We genuinely felt that we were in the best possible hands throughout the entire trek. Gio has an incredible depth of knowledge and a wonderful way of teaching and sharing his knowledge. He made the experience not only enjoyable, but also so much more meaningful. The entire AB team made us feel incredibly well looked after, and their dedication and effort did not go unnoticed. We came away with the most incredible memories that we will cherish forever. Amazing experience on Inca trail with AB
My travel partner and I booked with AB to do the classic 4 day Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Our tour guide, Edward, was excellent from start to finish. He is extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, plants, and archeological sites. He is also caring, hilarious, and easy to be around. Our personal chef, Yuri, created amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our entire trek. I was blown away by what he was able to cook at 13000 feet of elevation in a campsite. We also had 4 incredible porters who carried all of the supplies and camping equipment throughout the trail. The only mishap is that they provided 1 pair of walking sticks even though we ordered 2. However, they quickly provided a refund once we returned to Cuzco. Overall, AB provides a comprehensive service that allows you to just focus on the beauty and challenge of the trek itself. I would highly recommend this agency and please do not forget to tip the staff as they work extremely hard and deserve it!

Inka Trail with Richardo from AB
Meeting this team was a truly delightful experience. A total of 14 people (supporting just our group of seven) helped us successfully complete the wonderful journey that is the Inca Trail. Although we faced unfavorable weather during the first three days—and by "unfavorable," I mean we were soaked to the bone and encountered snow and blizzards at Dead Woman's Pass, with our hiking boots literally filled with water for over two days—our guide Richardo and the cooks (Moises and Santos) managed to lift our spirits and keep us in good humor. They made everything much easier and more enjoyable, effectively compensating for the harsh weather. My girlfriend and I actually considered quitting on the third day because we had no dry clothes left; she was exhausted and struggling with heart rate issues due to the altitude. However, Richardo handled the situation brilliantly and encouraged us enough to see the trek through to the end. The food was exceptional—far beyond our expectations. It was incredibly fresh and varied throughout the trip. We even got a cake on the final evening! An incredible team that put in a remarkable effort to ensure we had the best possible experience. Our utmost respect and congratulations to them.
