What a privilege! Ask for Luis Velarde - he brought the Inka history to life!
Exceptional tour - Luis is literally born to guide! Huge thanks to Plot Packers and Valencia Travel for an incredible itinerary. Navigating Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu with our guide, Luis, felt like a divine journey through the Inka world. His incredible passion and knowledge seamlessly connected us to all three realms of Inka beliefs. Luis provided thoughtful care at every turn - even racing off to buy our son some electrolytes to help him adjust to altitude. He is also a brilliant photographer. Exceptional service from start to finish!
Response from the operator: We are delighted to know that your journey through Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu felt so meaningful with Luis Velarde as your guide. His passion for Inka history, thoughtful care, and attention to every detail clearly made a lasting impact. Thank you for recognizing his exceptional service and for sharing such kind words about Valencia Travel.

Lima, Cusco and the Sacred Valley
From our collection by Adrian at Lima Airport and our shuttle to our super hotel they have been great. Frantz our guide for a walking tour around Old Lima was absolutely brilliant. The sights he showed us and the history and explanations he gave brought the tour to life and left us wanting more. Thank heavens for our guide for our departure from Lima to Cusco called Erica, who managed to reschedule our cancelled flight and got us safely to Cusco Airport with little time lost. Then best of all our guide at Cusco Jose took us to see the wanders of the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and its deeply fascinating history. José and our driver Richard for me made this trip an absolute dream come true and I am forever grateful to them and Valencia Travel for this experience so special. 🙏🏻
Response from the operator: We’re so glad to hear about your incredible journey through Lima, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley! From Adrian’s warm welcome at the airport to Frantz’s engaging walking tour of Old Lima, it’s wonderful to know our team brought the history and culture to life for you. Erica’s quick thinking and dedication ensured your journey remained smooth, and José’s expertise, along with Richard’s skillful driving, made exploring the wonders of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu truly unforgettable. Thank you for sharing your kind words—we’re thrilled to have been part of making your dream trip a reality!

Adventure of a lifetime!
This was a bucket list trip for my husband and I. We are both 57 and active, and felt we were up to the hiking. I booked many months ahead and sent dozens if emails with questions - all of which were answered quickly and thoroughly. We came into Cusco a day early to help acclimate to the altitude (good plan) and did a couple of extra tours with Valencia before the Inca Trail part. Everything was exceptional. Our group on the trail was small (5) and our guide and crew were fantastic. Nico, our guide, was focused on our safety and comfort. The cooks were fantastic. You can’t imagine the delicious meals we enjoyed! Porters are amazing. Equipment was top notch and conditions were comfortable (this is my first ever camping trip). Do your homework, prepare for a challenge, and book with Valencia. You will not regret it!!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your incredible experience with us! We’re so happy to have helped make this bucket list adventure a reality for you and your husband. From the early planning stages to your time on the trail, it’s wonderful to know everything met your expectations. Nico, our cooks, and porters will be delighted to hear your kind words. It’s especially meaningful to know we made your first camping trip so comfortable and memorable. Thank you for trusting Valencia Travel — we’d be honored to welcome you again for your next adventure! Warm regards,

Once in a Lifetime Experience
From the moment we arrived in Cusco to the time we had to say goodbye, this trip was unforgettable. Take advantage of the Luxury option and stay in the 5 star Inca Hotel to begin your trek to Machu Picchu. Valencia took care of everything and made certain we were happy campers. Our guide Aldo Sanchez Cast was the best in the business. His willingness to make sure we were happy made for an unforgettable experience. He even made sure we were able to camp closer to Machu Picchu on the final night so we would not have to hike so much in the dark. The food was amazing on the trail and our porters (locals call them Chaskis which you will find out) were like family. We very much recommend Valencia Travel and the Luxury option. You won't be disappointed!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your incredible experience! We’re thrilled to hear that your journey with us was truly unforgettable, and that the luxury option made it even more special. Aldo and our team of Chaskis take great pride in making every moment meaningful — from the thoughtful campsite adjustments to the amazing meals on the trail. Your words mean a lot to us, and we’re grateful for your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back to Peru for another once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does 7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service cost?
+
Prices start at $2,762 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is 7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7 Day Premium Inca Trail To Machu Picchu - Private Service start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
