Great experience

Great trip. Jose was very knowledgeable and social. Spoke perfect English and Spanish. Highly recommend. If you want to go deep into the jungle, book the 1 week tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear you had a great trip and that José made it even better with his knowledge and social nature. We appreciate your recommendation and agree, a week-long tour offers a deeper dive into the jungle. We hope to welcome you again soon! Best regards, Martha Alegría

A superb expedition

Top organization. The Guide was a very good companion. Lots of advice, lots of explanations about fauna and flora. We were able to observe an incredible amount of birds, observe and follow colonies of monkeys in the forest, observe lobos del rio in one of the 2 lakes we sailed on. The captain and sub-master of the boat were also great and participated in the success of this trip in Manu Park

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your travel experience with us. Greetings. Martha

Perfect trip to observe wildlife and meet locals

I went to this 7 days /6 nights tour in Manu with two other friends, accompanied by Edson as a guide. We had a wonderful experience from all points of view: well-organised logistics, very kind and professional staff (captain, guide, cook) and of course the incredible contact with the local populations, the nature and the landscape. Edson is an excellent guide, he has lynx eyes to spot birds and other wildlife, and he patiently shows them to you. I appreciated that he stopped to observe wildlife, not just rushing through. His English is good and he has extensive knowledge about wildlife and the local customs. Highly recommended! Hasta la proxima!

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your travel experience with us. Best regards Martha

Taz (tour guide) amazing, organisation not so

Due to medical reasons we downgraded to the 4 day tour. Taz our guide was amazing and it was clear he really cared about this important environment. He was also very knowledgeable and good a spotting animals and we saw lots in our 4 days including cappuchins, spider monkeys, lots of big bugs, capybara, tapir and lots of birds! He was also really personable and had great English skills. It was really lovely to have a very passionate tour guide. I can however not give 5 stars as the organisation beforehand was terrible. I requested a vegetarian meal through viator multiple times, and whatsapp however we get to the first lunch and I get the meat option. Luckily Taz and the chef were able to sort a vegetarian option for me for the rest of the trip. We also really struggled to clarify the pick up location as they say they'll pick you up from your hotel but gave no option to tell them which hotel and even after I told them we still recieved no confirmation that we would be picked up from there. The lodges we stayed in were nice, however the fly nets in the windows and the mosquito nets above the bed had holes in. Patiti lodge also had steps that were very treacherous and our room wan out of water and never really properly worked again after that.

Response from the operator: thank you very much for your time and comment about your experience in your trip with us. Martha.

A ride into the deep of the jungle

We went on a seven-day tour to the reserved zone of Manu National Park. Our guide Edson was knowledgeable and passionate about nature. He shared lots of information about the wildlife and planned the day to our wishes. He also gave us an insight about the local communities in Manu. The wildlife was impressive! We saw black and white caimans and giant otters in their natural habitat. Walking through the jungle, we enjoyed the rich flora including the giant trees. The colorful macaws and parrots were a highlight as well as seeing the national bird. We also saw different kinds of monkeys like capuchins, howlers, and spider monkeys. The only point to consider is the long ride by car and boat to get deep into the jungle, but it's worth it for the experience. I recommend this tour for anyone interested in nature and wildlife.

Response from the operator: thank you very much for your opinion. Martha

7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does 7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco cost?

+

Prices start at $1790 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is 7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7 days/6 nights Tour reserved area Manu National Park in Cusco start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
