The Inca jungle Trail is a new route offered to Machu Picchu which involves biking, walking and just being. This multiple terrain trip includes recently discovered real Inca paths, archaeological ruins and a 60 kilometer bike downhill. This is done on brand new mountain bikes through the mountains from Abra Malaga to the green valleys below and the jungle base of Santa Maria. The four day, three night trip ends with a dawn view of the valleys below Machu Picchu.

it’s the best vacation we’ve ever had !!!! Everything went very well
This is the first time I've left a review; I'm not usually one to write these, but of course the service we received from Arturo and his team “stole my heart.” Everything went perfectly from the first day to the very last minute. We took the Inca Jungle Trail hike, which took four days to reach Machu Picchu. I want to clarify that we hadn’t purchased tickets to Machu Picchu yet… Reserv Cusco helped us get them, and we were able to visit this marvel. As for the activities and hikes, they were simply spectacular. We really enjoyed the rafting, the Tirozeza, and the hot springs, as well as the beautiful Inca trails. Everything went very well; we’re so grateful for this experience—it’s the best vacation we’ve ever had.... Thank you so much!

Notes you should know
I liked the 4 days trip; however I wish I had not booked by the tour operator - Reserv Cusco. I was the only 1 in the group of 16 booked by this operator- obviously it is not recommended. The overall communication before the trip was confusing and unclear. Here are some facts that you should know before you booked with Reserv Cusco. - 24 hours cancellation is not applied once the ticket to Machu Pichu is confirmed. - The hot spring is included in the itinerary but you still need to pay the cable fee to the hot spring/ the entrance fee / and the transportation fee after the hot spring. - I was advised to reserve and pay upfront for the extra activities. In fact, you could just decide on site and easily pay with card or cash. - The mini bus return to Cusco is not from Machu Pichu; it’s 10 km away and it takes 3 hours to walk on the rocky road ( not including 1 hour down from Machu Pichu) and the bus takes 7 hours back to Cusco. I realized this on the 3rd day of the trip, so I eventually booked the train ticket by myself back to Cusco)

Positive memories and a perfect vacation
It was a great experience. Evans, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and very organized. The whole trip was organized to perfection. Highly recommend this tour. It has right combination of hiking, biking and fun activities. 4 days flew by climaxing at Machu Pichu - breathtaking in every direction!
