5 Star private tour of the Sacred Valley!!!
6 of us signed up for a private tour beginning with a half day tour of Lima before flying to Cusco where our guide met us at the airport. We had an amazing time! It was so nice to not be on a big tour bus or in a group of 20+ trying to see the sites and hear the guide. Carlos was our guide and he was fabulous! He was extremely knowledgeable about the sites we visited, answered all questions, had great energy and enthusiasm throughout the tour; he was just a great storyteller. Our accommodations were very nice, comfortable, and convenient. I spoke with Juan to set up the trip, and he was equally easy to work with. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would strongly recommend Juan, Carlos, and Amazing Andean Adventures if you are considering exploring the Sacred Valley.

Amazing Adventures is correctly titled!
The service was top notch. Knowledge of the archeology, history, local conditions, restaurants and attractions was fantastic. They have a passion for customer service and experience. Always on time, providing options, explaining all the details. We simply had a fantastic time.

We do have a passion to be the best we can possibly be for our customers and to ensure you truly have an Amazing Andean Adventure. Thank you again for the review

Wonderful custom trip
Juan and Terry allowed me to do a custom private guided tour to Cusco, Sacred Valley, 1 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and rainbow mountain. Terry kept me informed throughout the year of planning and they took care of all permits and everything. Danny , our guid, was wonderful and had a private Driver everywhere. Contact them directly to make this trip more custom. We are faster paced than most so this worked perfectly. Thank you for a fantastic Trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write a review and also that you included nice pictures. It was our pleasure to work with you on your trip to Peru. I'm happy that you and your wife were happy with the tour. Thank you for your business and again, for writing a review

Fantastic Anniversary in Peru
My wife and I went for our 36th Anniversary. Juan worked with us through the planning process for our 8 days there and the events we wanted to do. He was very flexible as we continued to modify the itinerary to see/do as much as possible during our brief stay. All transportation via driver, train, bus, plane, and boat was handle for us and went flawlessly. We've never done a private tour before, but felt it paid huge dividends at busy sites. Having a private guide knowledgeable on the site made the trip very educational and fascinating. In fact, we would often see other tourists listening in to pickup key tidbits. We hiked about 45 miles during the trip. We live in Colorado at 7500ft so the altitude was not much of an issue, but we could have better prepared for the climbing and descents. We enjoyed Puno and Lake Titicaca. We flew in, but in retrospect would have loved the full day mountain train ride. We spent a day going to Ica and the Huacachina Oasis to ride dune buggies. We also visited local wineries. It was a lot of fun, but the round trip cost in time made this an item we would not do again. Sacred Valley was the highlight of the tour. Absolutely great beaty, architecture, history, food, and people. On the day we visited the salt mines, we rented ATVs an rode around the country side. Besides being a blast, it provided a way to get into small villages and local communities where you could see families going through their daily routine. The views were outstanding where you wanted to stop and take photos at every turn. Our last two days included Machu Picchu and Cusco. Juan again provide expert historical context to include the why the Incas did what they did. We learned so much more having him as our guide. Freddy was an expert driver navigating traffic and always at the right spot and the right time. I can't give enough kudos to Amazing Andean Adventures and their team. Our recommendation is this is the only way to do Peru right! Thanks Juan and Team!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review. I had fun working with you on planning your special anniversary trip to Peru. You had an active itinerary and saw many sites while you were here. Thank you again for your business and kind review

Go with Amazing Andean Adventures, You Won’t Be Disappointed!
I usually plan the details of our travel so I was a little hesitant about doing a tour. It turned out that Amazing Andean Adventures was the perfect fit. We made a couple of tweaks to the Classic Machu Picchu trip. They have a support staff person in the US, who helped answer questions as we prepared and also kept us up to date with their scheduling. I was surprised we’d have a Guide (Juan) AND a Driver (Freddy), until I saw how people drive in the Andes! Freddy navigated the chaos of the roads expertly. The itinerary was well planned to minimize crowds and efficiently see as much as possible. On multiple occasions Freddy would drop us off with Juan and pick us up in a different place. We spent mornings and early afternoons seeing the sights. Juan taught us about history and culture, he knew the best places to take photos, and he was fun to be around. Before we split up mid-afternoon he would make recommendations for where me might want to explore and what we might want to eat the rest of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the culture, food, landscape, and people of the Andes. As a female couple, we felt very comfortable in all of the towns, at all of the lodging, and most especially with the staff of Amazing Andean Adventures and highly recommend them!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. We enjoyed working with you on planning your trio to Peru and also, spending each day with you. We know you have a choice in tour companies and are grateful you selected us. Thank you

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does 7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima cost?
+
Prices start at $3,690 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is 7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7-Day Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley Luxury Tour from Lima start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
