Excellent budget option for solo traveler
Great option for solo traveler on a budget to join an open-group safari. Wilfred from Meru Slopes helped with designing my itinerary, communicated well, and coordinated pick-up and drop-offs efficiently. The safari guide Stanley did an excellent job with finding the best spots for wildlife viewing and was very knowledgeable! Camping was a great and adventurous experience as well.

Unforgetable days
These have been unforgettable days. The organization was impeccable. I want to personally thank Kelvin and Joseph for their magnificent management, and of course, William Godlisten, the driver, who was always attentive, tracking animals and taking us to see the Big Five. With infinite patience, he made our five days unforgettable. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable 6-Day Safari with Ezequiel and Salimu!
> Our 6-day safari organized by Shandrak and the Meru Slopes team was a 10/10 experience! > Our guide, Ezequiel, was amazing. He brought the 6 of us together—even though we were strangers at first—and created a super fun group dynamic. His skill at positioning the jeep gave us unbeatable views of the wildlife: a leopard moving right next to us, 3 cheetahs, 7 rhinos up close in Ngorongoro, and a lioness hunting a buffalo in the distance. He also took us to the Mara River, where we caught the wildebeest river crossing after 3 attempts! > Our chef, Salimu, was equally fantastic. Always smiling, friendly, and super attentive, he prepared delicious meals, had our tables ready on time, and cooked our favorite rice and beans whenever we asked. > We had 6 incredible days with Ezequiel and Salimu. Unforgettable experience
Our safari experience was absolutely unforgettable from start to finish. We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and every single day exceeded our expectations. The highlight of the trip was definitely our guide, Samuel. He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and always made sure we had the best possible experience. Thanks to him, we were able to spot so many amazing animals, learn about their behaviour, and understand much more about Tanzania’s wildlife and culture. His ability to find wildlife was truly impressive, and he always shared fascinating facts that made every game drive even more special. The entire safari was perfectly organised, the landscapes were breathtaking, and seeing the Big Five in their natural habitat was a dream come true. A huge thank you to Samuel for making this adventure so memorable. If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, I couldn’t recommend this experience more. It truly was the trip of a lifetime!

Highly Recommended - Outstanding Safari Experience!
We did the 6-day group camping safari through the four iconic national parks: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara, and it was truly an unforgettable experience, coordinated by Jerome. Our guide, Samuel, was outstanding… professional, knowledgeable, incredibly efficient, and by the end of the trip, he had become our Tanzanian best friend! He made every game drive enjoyable and always went the extra mile to make sure we had the best possible experience. The safari vehicle was spacious and comfortable, the campsites were fantastic and set in incredible locations right in the heart of the parks, and Meru Slopes took care of absolutely everything. From airport pick-up and accommodation before and after the safari to providing a local SIM card, every little detail was perfectly organized. Communication was excellent from start to finish, the price was very competitive, and the level of service exceeded all our expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again with Meru Slopes, in fact, I’d choose them a hundred times over. Thank you so much for making this trip so special! Highly recommended.
