We were very grateful to Kibo Mawenzi and very satisfied with their service.

Our 6-day private Serengeti migration safari with my wife was a mix of thrilling, exciting, wildlife adventure and our dream journey. Our trusted tour partner was Kibo Mawenzi Safaris. Truly appreciate that they were very kind and very responsible from start to end. It was a wonderful start to our trip to Tarangire. The drive was worth it for the baobab trees alone; some were huge and centuries old. Our guide was very friendly and passionate. The Serengeti was the area around which we had planned our entire trip, and it taught us patience more than anything else. Our guide Peter explained that this migration is not a fixed event, that it changes daily, and he changed our route based on information from other guides in the area. Lake Manyara often gets overshadowed by other big names on Tanzanian itineraries, but it ended up being one of our favorite surprises. The transportation was smooth, there were no unnecessary waits, and our guide kept us informed of the next steps each night. As a couple looking for a more personal experience rather than a traditional itinerary, this private four-park itinerary struck the right balance between comfort and time with wildlife.

My girlfriend and I recently finished a peaceful journey with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris in Tanzania. We booked a 6 day private safari. We explored Tarangire, Serengeti Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. We were very satisfied and very grateful to Kibo Mawenzi Safaris. We would like to happily recommend them.

Our 6 day trip mix of adventure, relaxation, and incredible experience.

Choosing Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for our Tanzania safari was definitely the right and great decision. Over 6 incredible days, we explored 4 most beautiful Tanzania National Park, the Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. The camping equipment was clean and comfortable, the food was surprisingly good, and our guide worked hard to ensure we saw rare animals during the game drives. An unforgettable moment was when we saw elephants calmly walking past our jeep at sunset in Tarangire. Another highlight was seeing hyenas and lions interacting inside the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. Seeing Mount Kilimanjaro from a distance on our last day completed the trip perfectly. The experience was natural, exciting, and deeply satisfying for all of us.

    +

How many days do you need in Arusha?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
