About this experience
Marangu Route, commonly known as the Coca Cola route is more popular because it can be done in fewer days and has permanent sleep huts at the campsites. Summit night from Kibo Hut is steep and passes Gilman’s Point to Uhuru Peak. It is a shorter route with a steeper incline and less time for acclimatization it tends to have a lower summit success rate. This is the only route where the ascent and descent route is shared, thus creating more traffic. Duration: 5 or 6 days Difficulty: Medium Scenery: Good Traffic: High

Successful Kilimanjaro Summit with Sam and His Amazing Team
We had an amazing 5-night, 6-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Marangu Route with Mountain Warriors. Before choosing them, we searched and compared several companies, and Mountain Warriors offered the most reasonable price while still providing excellent service and support. Thanks to Sam and his entire team, we were able to reach the summit safely and without any major problems. Our main guide, Sam, was extremely professional and helpful throughout the whole climb. He gave us practical advice about when and how to take different medications, checked our condition regularly, managed the schedule carefully, and checked our gear and clothing in detail. He even reviewed each clothing layer one by one and helped us adjust our layers depending on the situation and weather. On summit day, he checked our oxygen saturation and explained the emergency protocols clearly, which made us feel much safer and more confident. His guidance was not only professional but also very realistic and useful. Our assistant guide, Justin, was also excellent. He led us every step of the way and supported us constantly. He kept checking our condition, guided us carefully along the trail, and always pointed out where to step and what to be careful about. His support made a big difference, especially during the more difficult parts of the climb. Obama, our chef, took great care of our meals every day. He also joined us along the way and always helped us with positive energy. We really appreciated how well he looked after us. We are also very grateful to the porter team: Immanuel, Daniel, Rajab, Leo, Frank, and Salim. Immanuel helped us every morning with washing water and meal preparation, and Daniel supported us on summit day. Rajab, Leo, Frank, and Salim also helped us not only with their assigned roles but also with carrying our bags and providing any support we needed. Because of all the big and small things that Sam and his team did for us, we were able to reach the summit safely. Even at the summit, we did not have symptoms of altitude sickness. After reaching the top, they continued to check our condition carefully during the descent and helped us a lot. We knew Kilimanjaro would be a challenging climb, but with Sam and his team, the whole experience felt like a piece of cake. They were professional in a very practical way, but they also gave us great psychological support. Because of them, we felt safe, reassured, and well taken care of throughout the entire climb. Everyone was kind, supportive, and hardworking. We also want to thank Lovness for planning the trip so well. Because of her, we were able to make the most of our vacation and enjoy a very meaningful and well-organized journey. We are also grateful to Carlos for making our pickups and transfers comfortable and smooth. I highly recommend Mountain Warriors to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro. Thank you again to Lovness, Carlos, Sam, Justin, Obama, Immanuel, Daniel, Rajab, Leo, Frank, Salim, and the whole team for helping us achieve this unforgettable experience.

Jambo! Mountain Warriors delivered impressive, excellent service with a professional, fun, high-energy team, pure Hakuna Matata vibes all the way! We were a big group of 20 climbers supported by an incredible team of 59 people plus one manager who helped us plan the entire trip from the very beginning, stayed in constant touch, and provided all the information we needed and thanks to Mountain Warriors, our whole group made it to the top of Kilimanjaro. 🏔️ The highlight of the trip was the food Chef Barack (Obama) and his team truly amazed us by serving unbelievably delicious meals. We never imagined enjoying pasta, pizza, skewers and even fried flat food that reminded us of Mongolian dishes up in the mountains. The food never disappointed and was a huge source of energy and happiness honestly, one of the secrets behind all of us reaching the summit. We were also blessed with Abdi and 9 amazing guides who constantly supported, assisted, and cared for us like family, without them every step would have been much harder. A heartfelt thank you as well to the hardworking porters who carried our belongings up and down in very harsh conditions your effort is deeply appreciated. Asante sana to everyone at Mountain Warriors. After the climb, we went on a safari with the Mountain Warriors safari team. And stayed at a luxurious camp in the wild with special buffet food and very friendly staff highly recommended for relaxing. The Serengeti safari was magical, seeing animals living freely with no cages. Overall, our large group was handled exceptionally well, and we all left satisfied, happy, and with the best memories.
