Gorilla & Chimp Trekking (Uganda), Tarangire/Manyara/Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater Safari (Tanzania), Morocco
We really liked working with Tales of Tanzania very much; the staff was attentive and wanted to fit in all that we wanted to see in the time we had, including suggestions for more sightseeing in areas we were not familiar with. We had never-to-be forgotten experiences with the Chimp and Gorilla trekking in Uganda, all the animals we encountered in the Serengeti and nearby areas in Tanzania, and the beautiful culture and beauty of Morocco. Pendo was always making sure we were taken care of throughout the trip, and we can't thank the guides and drivers enough who made sure we saw all that we could in these 3 countries. That said, we would like to highlight the most amazing guides and drivers we had the pleasure of traveling with! They were easy to communicate with: Uganda: Shamim (wonderful driver and guide!) Ronnie (Swamp guide, monkey & chimp trekking) Emmanuel Mpatswe (gorilla trekking) Tanzania: DISMAS Mally!! He was GREAT!! Among other sightings, he got us to see the crossing of the Wildebeests and Zebra in record time, 2 days in a row! He was very knowledgeable and sensitive to our requests. We will never forget his "African Massage" driving!!! Morocco: Aissam Charach, our FANTASTIC guide all the way through the cities we visited, and our driver, Ismail, also FANTASTIC! They were wonderful to work with. Both were so attentive!

wonderous trip to Tanzania. Thanks Tales of Tanzania Safarias!!!
Just wanted to say that Tales of Tanzania Safaris is such a class act. We arrived in Tanzania Kilimanjaro airport quite tired from just finishing a safari in Kenya. Our driver understood and got us to our first stay at a very nice lodge . We started out late the next day due to us being "wiped out " by our first safari. Peter , our driver and guide ----and protector was very flexible but got us back on track the next day. We met Pendo and her sister the second day. The staff is professional , competent and became friends very quickly. getting close to the wildlife is an understatement . Wow , just wow !!!!!!! We ran into some rainy weather and the roads got real dicey . Peters was in tune with the Toyota Land Cruiser Safari and could anticipate the slip and sliding . He can really drive this vehicle !! Our group of four was from Michigan and Alaska and we know slippery conditions. Peter and the Toyota are TOP NOTCH-------Seriously. We also learned about the Massi, and the Tanzanian people through Peter , Pendo and our experiences. This trip was life changing for us . At one point ,we waved at the school kids and they waved at us----smiling ---real , not fake. Travel like this helps the world understand each other . Do it , if you can. all of our stops were top notch. the wilderness camps were just the right balance of wild and safe creature comforts. We highly recommend this Tanzanian owned and operated Company. Kevin and Laura Weston , Detroit Michigan , USA
Response from the operator: Dear Laura and Kevin, Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. Am glad that you all went back with great memories of our beautiful country! It was really nice meeting you

Tales of Tanzania Safari and Vacation.
It was better than I could imagine. We saw so many animals, not only the BIG 5, but many others. The animals were in their natural habitat and seeing them up close and personal was unbelievable. There really are not words to describe this phenomenal adventure. You must book a safari and see for yourself. We do not think we could have had a better safari guide. Peter was amazing and attuned to our wants and needs. He safely drove us to places near and far to get us the best views of the animals. We learned a lot about the animals, people and area from him. We are so grateful for the experience with him. The accommodations were great. We stayed in hotels, lodges and experienced luxury tenting. When they say luxury that is what they mean. Luxury tenting was really fun and gave you the opportunity to listen to animals speaking and moving during the night. Pendo worked with us to create a special itinerary that met our needs and gave us the greatest safari experience and a wonderful and unforgettable vacation.
Response from the operator: Hi Marissa, I am soooo glad, I mean we all are extremely joyful for your wonderful review. Thank you so much! am glad you all went home with wonderful memories.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 6 -Day Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro cost?

Is 6 -Day Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6 -Day Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

How far in advance should I book 6 -Day Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
