I would do Serengeti again
Raymond really did a great job organising our trip; there has been some delays @start but all went for the best! Mathew was an top notch driver, very cautious! I would recommend GIE because one can get personal with the Boss. We skipped Lake Manyara to favour Maasai Village and spend more time in our beautifl lodges.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with Great Image Expedition! We’re glad that, despite a few initial delays, your trip turned out to be a wonderful adventure. It’s great to hear that Mathew provided safe and attentive driving, and that you enjoyed the personal touch of working directly with Raymond. We’re also pleased that the adjustments to your itinerary—visiting the Maasai Village and spending more time at your lodges—added to your enjoyment. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you again for more unforgettable experiences! Warm regards, Great Image Expedition Team

I went on safari for the first time.
To be honest, I was a little afraid of Safari. My husband and I have never been to Africa before, and this is the first time in our lives that we have travelled for so long. Still, I booked, because both wanted a different experience. After entering Tarangire on the morning of the first day, we realised that we had made the right decision. I was silent for a while, watching the huge herd of elephants through the open roof of the car. The guide patiently explained everything - so there was no rush or panic in us at any time. It was late afternoon when I reached Serengeti. Small undulating grasslands, hot winds, and occasional zebras and gazelles were visible. As the car moved on, the guide stopped and said, "Look over there" - I saw a group of lions lying under a tree. I was silent the whole time, just watching. Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara were two very different places. The scene inside the crater is so big, so alive, there is stillness. And Lake Manyara - the last day seemed very calm and comfortable. All in all, it was a trip where I repeatedly asked myself, "Is this moment real? " Even though the safari is over, the memory still remains - absolutely alive.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful reflection on your first safari experience! We’re thrilled that you and your husband decided to take the leap and explore Africa—it sounds like it turned into an unforgettable journey. It’s wonderful to hear that your first glimpse of the massive elephant herds in Tarangire left you in awe and that your guide’s patience and knowledge helped you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the trip. Witnessing lions in the Serengeti, the vastness and life of Ngorongoro Crater, and the calm serenity of Lake Manyara truly captures the magic of a safari. We’re especially glad that these moments felt so real and alive to you—those are the experiences that stay with you forever. Thank you for trusting Great Image Expedition to guide you on such a meaningful adventure. We hope to welcome you back for more incredible journeys and equally unforgettable memories. Warm regards, Great Image Expedition Team

I was stunned to see the herd of elephants on the first day.
We started with Tarangire National Park. Half an hour after entering the gate, the guide stopped the car and said, "Be quiet, there is something in front." Let's see what! A large group of elephants - with the whole family standing on the road. Tears welled up in my eyes; I had never seen so many animals in my life. We had a picnic that afternoon under a large baobab tree - the kids were playing, and we were washing our hands and eating. I felt like I was in a movie. Then it's time to visit Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara - every day is something new. The guide was so attentive that we felt like a family, not guests.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful safari experience! We’re thrilled to hear that your journey through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara was so memorable. It’s amazing that the sight of the elephant family in Tarangire left such a strong impression—it truly is a magical moment when nature takes your breath away. We’re glad the picnic under the baobab tree and watching your kids enjoy themselves added even more special memories. Hearing that our guide made you feel like family rather than guests means the world to us. Creating those personal, attentive experiences is exactly what we aim for at Great Image Expedition. Thank you for trusting us with such a memorable adventure—we hope to welcome you again for more extraordinary journeys! Warm regards, Great Image Expedition Team.

Thank you Great Image Expedition for providing such a wonderful experience!!
My family and I recently went on a 5-day safari with the Great Image Expedition, and it was one of the best experiences of our lives! Every day was well-planned - we just woke up in the morning and got ready; the rest they managed very well. On the first day we saw elephants, giraffes, and many other wild animals in Tarangire. After reaching Serengeti, we enjoyed the lions, cheetahs, and magnificent sunsets. The next day in the Serengeti was the whole game drive - in a word, great! Then we went to the Ngorongoro Crater, where we saw a lot of rhinos and hippos. On the last day of the journey in the peaceful environment of Lake Manyara, different types of birds and monkeys are seen. This trip will be a memorable part of our lives..
Response from the operator: Dear Rafiki H, Wow – reading your words truly brought a smile to our faces! It means the world to us that your 5-day safari with Great Image Expedition has become a treasured memory for your family. From the gentle giants of Tarangire to the golden sunsets of Serengeti, and the peaceful charm of Lake Manyara – we’re so happy you got to witness nature’s magic in all its forms. Thank you for trusting us to guide you through these unforgettable landscapes and for letting us take care of the details so you could just wake up and soak in every moment. Your appreciation reminds us why we do what we do – not just planning safaris, but creating life-long memories. We hope to welcome you again someday for another journey into the wild beauty of Tanzania. With warmest regards, The Great Image Expedition Team
