Amazing experience at great value
My wife and I had the most amazing trip with Destiny Explorers. From before we even arrived the service was brilliant, with Issa updating us with itineraries and any changes to the trip as necessary with plenty of notice. When we arrived our guide, Hussein met us at the airport and we started our adventure. Hussein himself was fantastic. He was so friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about not just the wildlife but the surrounding areas as well. Hussein was a huge part of why we had such a brilliant time. The accommodations provided for us by the company were all brilliant too, with the food exceeding expectations and the rooms/amenities all being great as well. Overall a fantastic trip, running out of good things to say about it, would recommend this company whole-heartedly!!
Response from the operator: Dear Will, I appreciate you taking the time to share your great experience with Destiny Explorers. It was indeed a pleasure to arrange this wonderful safari for you and your wife. I'm happy that we did our best to deliver what we promised our clients. Kudos to Hussein for his excellent work ensuring you had the real African safari experience. I can't wait to welcome you again to Tanzania. Cheers! Best regards, Issa Hamisi

Unforgettable experience!
Myself and my partner did a 7 day safari circuit with destiny explorers. Our guide David was so kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We saw all the wildlife we’d hoped to see and more! Highly recommend this trip and company, Issa was incredibly quick to respond to questions, helped with visas and ensured that our safari was exactly how we’d hoped.
Response from the operator: Hi Vicky, I'm happy that our service met your expectations. Thanks to David for his incredible work in helping you explore and experience the African safari. Thank you so much for the complement. Best regards, Issa Hamisi

Perfect operator for a safari!
We had a fantastic 5-day safari with our driver David! The communication with Issa beforehand was perfect—everything was extremely well organized, and we stayed in truly luxurious camps and lodges throughout. The camps in the Serengeti were especially unforgettable. Everything ran smoothly, and even the day after the safari we were taken to the airport. David was phenomenal, and we were able to see a huge variety of animals. We would do this tour again anytime, and in our opinion, the extra cost charged by other providers is not justified. Thank you Issa & David for this unforgettable experience!
Response from the operator: Hi Elisabeth, Thank you for the compliment. Kudos to David for his wonderful job. We can't wait to welcome you again to Tanzania for an extraordinary experience. Tanzania Hakuna Matata! With kind regards, Issa Hamisi

Very professional and successful safari trip!
We were a group of seven and fitted snuggly in our Landcruiser, each with a small to medium bag without a problem. Our guide and driver, Tarimo, was so knowledgeable about everything and shared the right amount of information about all the animals and flora in the parks, and the history/stats of the parks too. He was kind, patient and caring about his guests, and directed the 5 day tour so well. The vehicle was comfortable and with a daily seat rotation between us, we enjoyed all days. The roads are bumpy and dusty at times, but Tarimo drove with skill and care. We spotted all the animals we wanted to see, including rhino, cheetah and leopard-again thanks to our guide’s tracking skills and his connection with other tour drivers on the road. The accommodation throughout was good and suited our needs very well- good food, clean and spacious rooms and hot showers with strong water pressure. The staff of all of our accommodation choices along the journey were also excellent- attentive and efficient which is all you need after long days on the road. Issa at Destiny Explorers and his team put on a professional and smooth service. Issa helped guide and plan our trip though a video call which really helped with understanding the way safari works and choose our options. Payment was really easy with minimal bank charges through Revolut which was also super smooth and less stress than paying cash. Overall we all loved this trip and we are very grateful to Issa and his team. As part of his customer service, Issa came to visit us to get feedback of our trip so he can continue to improve this excellent safari trip further. Overall this trip exceeded all of our expectations by a long way. Thank you again to the team at Destiny Explorers.
Response from the operator: Hello! On behalf of the entire team at Destiny Explorers, thank you for choosing us to host you for this amazing adventure. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our senior guide, Mr. Tarimo, for his incredible work in making sure our clients are happy. Best regards, Issa Hamisi

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $2150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5-Days Private Tanzania Safari Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
