MOSES is GOD

Our first time safari experience with afrishare was fabulous. We were 4 and had 5 days safari tour including Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongo. It was such a great time that we couldn’t forget for the rest of our lives! Ibrahim was communicative responded quickly to our requests. Actually that was the main reason why we chose afrishare. Plus, all accommodation reservations were secure and the administrative procedures during the trip went smoothly. And I can’t forget to mention MOSES!! This guy was REALLY an expert. He was very supportive to make us to have the most comfortable time possible, and communicated with the other guides in every way to ensure that we didn't miss a single animal, while allocating the time efficiently. I think his long time experience in arranging the safari helped us to make all the schedule effective. His sense humor and good personality also made our trip enjoyable. I’d like to wrap up this short post with some pics. Thanks again to afrishare & MOSES the GOD!!! We really appreciate all of your effort during the trip. MOSES is afrishare. MOSES is Tanzania!!! 😊😊😊

Response from the operator: We appreciate your support, we will always do our best level to make our clients happy. Thank you very much.

Forever in my heart

We are a couple and we did a 5 days/4 nights Safari. It was a precious and unforgettable experience also thanks to our super guide Rama. We saw a lot of animals in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. They also allowed us to make a last minute switch from Lake Manyara to a cultural tour in Mto Wa Mbu and it totally worth it! All the accomodotion were nice and comfortable.

Response from the operator: We will be happy to host you again in the near future. Thank you for your support and trust. Welcome back again. We are happy that we were able to make you happy and enjoy your experience with us. we will always do better.

Tarangeri, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

We did a 5 day Safari spending a day in Tarangeri, 3 days in Serengeti and 1 in Ngorongoro Crater. Let's start with the positives - Incredibly knowledgeable guide in Moses. He is clearly a very knowledgeable individual who has a passion for creating a great experience for guests. I would have no hesitation in going on a safari led by Moses again, he knows the best spots to see animals and goes out of his way to find you what you want to see, constantly chatting with other drivers in person, on the radio and photo to obtain the latest news on Game whereabouts. Unfortunately the support staff are slightly less impressive. We turned up at Tarangeri National Park on day one and were excited to get inside, unfortunately Ibrahim and not sent across the correct paperwork and we had a two hour wait outside, which wasn't a great start. Day 2 didn't start great either as we departed our lovely lodge, which we were due to return to on night 4, only to be told that they had no room on night 4 and we'd be staying elsewhere. This was despite Ibrahim confirming to us via email over a month before that all accommodation was booked and sorted... unfortunately not! It should be said that the lodge on night 4 was perfectly fine (albeit not quite as nice as night 1's), however it's not where we should have been staying. We did email Ibrahim about this on day 2 so he could try and sort it out and get us back into the original lodge, but it took him over 48 hours to respond. The other accommodation was as we expected it to be. Overall, an incredible holiday and I would go again, especially with Moses as the guide. However the firm could do with improving things in head office/organisation centre.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your prompt response and honest reviews this helps us to improve. We thank you very much for choosing to travel with Africare. As I told you the problem was with the payment system as we had paid in advance and our payment could not show on the park system so we were obliged to repay so this was a system error and again we are very sorry about that. Regarding late response I also told you I was sick and at the hospital so was not able to answer on time but was communicating with the driver all the process and made all possible communications to make sure you get inside the park on time. However, I ordered the driver to exceed time in the park to compensate for the time and he did so as a result, in general, he put extra game drive and you were able to see everything needed and more. We apologize for all the inconvenience and we will make sure to improve this situation.

Beginning to end amazing safari experience

Amazing tour group! We did a 3 day safari in Ngorongoro and Serengeti and had an amazing time. Great communication with Ibrahim, fantastic tour guide (Atif), and very smooth experience. Atif was well connected to the other tour guides and took us to the best spots, we saw a pride of lions, elephants, giraffes, all the cool animals.

Response from the operator: We will be happy to host you again in the near future. Thank you for your support and trust. Welcome back again. We are happy that we were able to make you happy and enjoy your experience with us. we will always do better.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does 5 Days Northern Tanzania Safari cost?

+

Prices start at $890 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5 Days Northern Tanzania Safari take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.

Is 5 Days Northern Tanzania Safari worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 5 Days Northern Tanzania Safari suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 5 Days Northern Tanzania Safari?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5 Days Northern Tanzania Safari start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

+

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
