Four incredible days in Tanzania
We have done a 4-day safari, and the experience has been incredible. From the very first moment, they treated us wonderfully, making us feel very comfortable and well taken care of at all times. The food has been excellent, always varied and very good, exceeding our expectations. Moreover, the entire team has been extremely kind, attentive, and professional, constantly ensuring that we enjoyed the experience to the fullest. Thanks to them, we have been able to live unforgettable days. Without a doubt, we recommend this experience 100% and would repeat it without hesitation. Thank you very much for everything!

Brilliant company!
My girlfriend and I recently used Mountain warriors for both our Kilimanjaro climb and 5 days of safari and they were absolutely brilliant. The team we had with us when attempting to summit Kilimanjaro were fantastic, in particular our two guides; Sam and Chewy. They helped us every step of the way and were the main reason we summated successfully, nothing was too much for them and their sense of humour/ positive attitude kept us going throughout the hike! The rest of the team were great as well, the porter and chef (Obama) so massive shout out to them all! The organisation of the safari was excellent, we saw all of the big 5 and made memories we won’t forget. A special mention to our organiser Gasto, who put everything together for us and even bought us some lunch on our last day at the airport as we had had to skip our lunch to make a flight to Zanzibar! We would definitely recommend using Mountain Warriors and would use them again!

Experience of a lifetime!
Easily the most challenging and rewarding thing I've ever done and probably ever will do. From start to finish the team supported us with everything from carrying our heavy luggage up the mountain and preparing all our meals to patting our hands and feet to promote good circulation and singing to us on summit night. The attention to detail concerning our health was excellent and gave me the confidence to (in spite of my asthma) push my limits and succeed on this hike. We made life-long friends, and will return to beautiful Tanzania one day soon. Would absolutely recommend this trip (it was a pre-weddig honeymoon for my husband and I and we wouldn't change our choice of activity/destination) and your chances are far greater with this team around you!!

Kilimanjaro: Perfect Experience, Excellent Guide, 100% Authentic
A trip of a lifetime! Gasto and his crew were wonderful and ensured our safety and summit to Kilimanjaro. We learned about his culture and the surrounding areas of Kilimanjaro. Each meal was prepared fresh and served hot. Our group did not worry for anything, as all our needs were met and tended to each day. Gasto explained the flora and fauna as we trekked up the mountain - demonstrating their cultural respect of the land and mountain. The huts were very comfortable, the beds cozy, and they even had pillows! Be prepared to experience some of the most breathtaking views, beautiful people, and summiting the highest peak in Africa - Kilimanjaro. It's wicked cold - bring warm jackets! Highly recommend Gasto and his crew - would go back again and again!

Incredible trip with Gasto, AKA the Kili King!
Incredible experience! - Gasto and his team are simply amazing. Having climbed Kili 250 times, Gasto is a Kili expert and will ensure that you are well looked after on the mountain, and that you have a good laugh whilst conquering Africa's highest peak. Great food and great company for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing cost?
+
Prices start at $1730 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climbing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
