Amazing safari with Kilipath

The safari experience with Kilipath was incredible from the very beginning. I requested a quote and they responded very quickly, answering all the questions we had. Our safari guide, Raymond, gave us lots of information about all the animals throughout the trip. We were very lucky because we got to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, rhinos, hippos, and many more... We also enjoyed amazing and varied breakfasts, lunches, and dinners thanks to our chef, Pasco. Thanks to them, the whole experience exceeded our expectations.

Beatiful but not a Top Guide

The Trip went overall well and was well organised, no big problems. But the most important thing, the Guide that stayed with us for 5 days (Named Mirambo) was more Just a driver, he brought us from point A to point B, and explained Just the minimum regards Animals and cultural staff. We did a complete safari with 2 days in Serengeti. There was no passion, and every now and then he was saying "take picture, ok? Can we go?" When we were asking question, the answer was Just yes or no, nothing more. And we have been in Tanzania 3 weeks before this so we know how a normal guide is working. Even Joel from the same Company that brought us to Kilimangiaro, told us more stuff in a couple of hours then Mirambo in 5 days.

Negative organization, positive leadership

Considering only the experience of the safari the review would have been positive; the itinerary was what we requested (although to be able to confirm it we had to message some time) and our guide (George), turned out to be a nice person and despite not speaking Italian was always competent and helpful. We come to the main problem: having given only the down payment, on the first day we are asked to pay off the residual. Initially only one transaction was required (impossible for any credit card as the total is over 5000€) so we had to convince Felicitas to split. However, proceeding with the payments, he persisted in making transactions on transactions with an old POS that blocked all our cards, with also annoyed attitude. On one card in particular the excess transaction had not even been reversed and we had to face the rest of the holiday without money (luckily we travel with friends). Final surprise: the refund arrives at the end of the holiday but there are about 40 € left. To date we are still waiting.

The issue occurred due to the network not being stable at that moment. Please note that our machine accepts only US dollars, so any payment made in euros is automatically converted to USD. The slight difference of about €40 was due to the exchange rate between USD and EUR, and this is not an error on our side. We truly value your understanding and hope this clarifies the situation. Unforgettable memories

I just returned from an incredible 7-day safari with Kilipath African Safaris, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Even though I was a bit of a troublemaker at times, they took such wonderful care of me. Heavenlight is such a kind-hearted soul with the most beautiful smile, and Gasto is an absolute gem of a person. Thanks to them, I got to see all of the Big 5, which was absolutely magical. I highly recommend booking with Kilipath, and I’m already planning my next trip back to Tanzania. Without a doubt, I’ll be booking with this amazing company again!

Excellent time over 7 days!

All was very well organised and the team worked hard to make sure all members of the group saw everything they wanted to. We saw all the main safari animals and plenty of them. Even cheetahs, leopards and a rhino were seen on our trip.
