An exceptional operator offering authentic, unforgettable Tanzanian safaris.
We had an absolutely incredible safari in Tanzania and couldn’t recommend Kipe and the entire team highly enough. We saw every animal we had hoped to see in its natural habitat, including a pack of lions hunting a zebra and the spectacular Mara River crossing. One of the most meaningful parts of our trip was spending a night in a Maasai village. It gave us a unique opportunity to experience the community up close and learn about Maasai daily life, traditions, and culture. The lodges and camps were excellent, and our guide, Ali, was fantastic. His knowledge and guidance made the entire journey even more special. This truly was the safari of a lifetime, filled with memories we will never forget. Thank you to everyone who made it such an amazing adventure!
Response from the operator: Dear Prasad, Thank you very much for this beautiful review and for supporting Kipe Adventure! We’re so happy to hear that you had such a memorable safari, especially the Mara River crossing, the incredible wildlife sightings, and your time in our Maasai community. We’re glad that staying in the village gave you a meaningful connection to the culture and daily life. Thank you as well for your kind words about Ali and our entire team. It was a pleasure having you with us and being part of your safari of a lifetime. Asante sana for trusting our local, Maasai-owned company. We hope to welcome you back to Tanzania again! Amazing trip
Our trip to Tanzania with Kipe Adventures was an unforgettable experience. One of the absolute highlights was our stay in a Maasai village, where we had the unique opportunity to spend the night. This gave us a rare insight into daily life and the traditions of the Maasai. We were welcomed with genuine hospitality and got to experience their way of living up close, which made the whole experience feel both authentic and personal. In the days that followed, we traveled to the Serengeti, which was truly impressive. The vast landscapes, the sense of calm, and the raw nature made a lasting impression. During the safaris, we saw a variety of animals, which made the experience even more special. Each drive brought something new, and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature is hard to match. Everything was well organized by Kipe Adventures, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the journey without any concerns. The smooth planning and guidance made a real difference. Overall, it was a fantastic trip with a great balance between culture and nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Tanzania in an authentic way.

Unforgetable experience
Kipe Adventures delivered one of the most extraordinary experiences of our lives. What sets them apart isn’t just the safari, it’s the whole package they’ve built around it. We started with a game drive and walking safari in Manyara Ranch Conservancy, spotting animals up close in a way that no fence or barrier could replicate. From there, Kipe took us to Oltukai, the Maasai village where he grew up. That night completely changed the trip. Sleeping in the village, joining the dances, seeing how the community lives. It was raw, genuine, and perspective changing in a way that no hotel experience ever could be. Then two full days in the Southern Serengeti, where we spotted all Big Five and more. Lion cubs resting on a termite mound, elephant herds at sunset, the plains stretching endlessly in every direction. Kipe and our guide Charles where knowledgeable, warm, and deeply connected to both the land and their community. Don’t hesitate. Just book
Response from the operator: Dear MD, Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for supporting Kipe Adventure. It means a lot to us. We’re so happy you enjoyed the safari, the Manyara Ranch experience, Oltukai Village, and your time in the Serengeti. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we’re grateful you trusted us to be part of your journey. We hope to welcome you back to Tanzania again soon. Asante sana for supporting our local, Maasai-owned company! Asante Sana. — Kipe & the Kipe Adventure Team

Wildlife, cultural experience in northern Tanzania
My family of 4 booked with Kipe to tour Ndutu and some of the other nearby parks, focusing on seeing the start of the calving season in southern Serengeti. Kipe was really good to communicate with (despite a 12 hour time difference!) and was real organized during the whole process. Our driver and guide Manfred was great and the lodgings/food/etc on the way were just right. Many, many wildlife sightings along the way.... We also chose to spend a night with his family in the Masai village and Kipe joined us, which was a rustic but very genuine and memorable experience. My kids really enjoyed the village and it was certainly a side of Tanzania we would not have seen other wise :) If you are looking for a smaller, attentive company with local roots, this is a great pick.
Response from the operator: Dear Rob, Asante Sana for your beautiful review and for trusting Kipe Adventure with your family safari. It truly means a lot to us. It was a real pleasure organizing your journey to Ndutu and the southern Serengeti during the start of the calving season, such a special time of year. I’m very happy to hear that the communication, planning, and overall experience met your expectations, even with the 12-hour time difference. 😊 Manfred will be especially proud to hear your kind words. He is passionate about guiding and sharing the magic of our wildlife, so your feedback will mean a lot to him. Spending time together in my family’s Maasai village was also very meaningful for me personally. I’m grateful you embraced the rustic nature of the experience and saw it for what it truly is: genuine, local, and from the heart. Knowing that your children enjoyed it and connected with a different side of Tanzania makes me especially happy. Thank you again for choosing a locally rooted company like ours. Your visit supports not only our team but also the wider community here. We hope to welcome you and your family back to Tanzania soon again. Karibu sana! Warm regards, Lekulek/Kipe.

5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience cost?
+
Prices start at $1342 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5- Days Best Mid-range Safari and Maasai Village experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
