Perfectly organized
Had a great time during our 5-day safari with Safari Roam. It was very well organized from the very beginning to the very end. Our guide, Frank, was very knowledgeable and patient and exhaustively answered and explained everything we asked him. Everything was perfect, and we’re already thinking about visiting other parks with them next year. Highly recommended.

Perfect experience
We had the best safari experience with our guide Oscar and our cook George. George prepared the most delicious meals and was a pleasure to be around. Oscar managed to find the Big 5 and was the most fun guide we could wish for. Thank you!!

Experience of a lifetime
We chose Kanje Grand Tours for our five day safari in Tanzania, through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and we couldn't have made a better choice! Really competitive price and impeccable organization during all five days. A special mention for our guide and driver Isaya: always very kind, expert and safe while driving (which is not secondary on difficult roads), very skilled in spotting animals and always ready to answer our curiosities. We stayed at the Highview Lodge in Karatu and at the Osero Serengeti Camp (the latter right inside the Serengeti) and found two facilities of the highest standard with excellent staff. For your Safari you don't have to choose Kanje, they are a guarantee!

We will do it again
This safari was life changing. The access to animals viewing was so well. Our guide Evance was so experienced, knowledgeable. He made the safari so much more than we could ever had imagined. We saw up close the big 5. The lodges was all 5 star and exceptional. Well worth asking for tree house style accommodation. It was beyond perfect. If you want an expert guide, ask for Evance, you will not be disappointed.

amazing safari
We had an amazing safari with kanje grand tours! Before departure we‘ve got a short briefing by one of the employees who explained the schedule again. Although we were paired up with people that booked from different companies as it was low season and we booked a joined group safari we had a really great experience. Our guide was super good and had a great knowledge in flora and fauna. As well all the food was so delicious! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always freshly prepared by the accompanied chef and had various different dishes.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping cost?
+
Prices start at $1100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5-Day Classic Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Camping start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
