Exellent Experience
It was a beautiful safari. Our itinerary included: day 1 Tarangire, days 2 and 3 Serengeti, day 4 Ngorongoro Crater. We stayed in tents every night and shared a vehicle with four other people (a great choice; it would have been a bit boring alone). Pros: The chef and guide were very accommodating and attentive to individual needs (including attention to food allergies). Areas for improvement: The vehicle was not ideal for those taller than 1.80 m (all the vehicles seen, however, were of the same model). The equipment provided for the night in Ngorongoro was not perfect (slightly cold). Knowing this, we could have prepared better ourselves
Response from the operator: Geovanna Thanks very much, we are grateful for your lovely comments. Three peaks are pleased that you chose us for your adventure here in Tanzania. We hope you enjoyed your trip so much that you will be tempted back one day! Kind regards J. Obure Director Sales and Operations

An Extraordinary 5-Day Safari: Unraveling Africa's Grandeur with Three Peaks
I just had the chance to be part of an extraordinary 5-day safari coordinated by Three Peaks. It was an adventure of a lifetime, and the meticulous efforts of Rafael, our guide, played a major role in it. His dedication ensured that not only did we see the famous Big Five, but also were fortunate to witness the mesmerizing Great Migration. The in-depth knowledge of Rafael and his colleague, Revocatus, brought the African wilderness to life in ways I could never have imagined. Choosing Three Peaks was like finding a needle in a haystack of safari operators. But, their commitment to a personalized experience and outstanding customer satisfaction distinguished them from the rest. To sum it up, the safari with Three Peaks was a dazzling encounter with Africa's grandeur. If you’re considering a safari, I cannot recommend Three Peaks highly enough. They're true professionals who promise and deliver a magical experience.
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your safari review. We are happy to read that you enjoyed your time in the parks and that you saw four wildebeest crossings over the Mara River! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about Salim and we are happy to read that he respected Tanzania's amazing wildlife. Thank you again for traveling with us and we hope to see you again. Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
*5-Day Camping Safari*: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does *5-Day Camping Safari* cost?
+
Prices start at $1450 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does *5-Day Camping Safari* take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is *5-Day Camping Safari* worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule *5-Day Camping Safari*?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is *5-Day Camping Safari* suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book *5-Day Camping Safari*?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does *5-Day Camping Safari* start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
