4-day Tanzania mid range lodge safari
We had a wonderful trip with Patrick and JJ. They are great guides who found so many amazing animals for us to see. Even with recent flash flooding in the area, they navigated the terrain safely and skillfully. We really appreciated their knowledge and driving expertise.
Response from the operator: Jambo jambooooo Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures! We're delighted to hear you had a wonderful safari with Patrick and JJ. Your appreciation of their knowledge, wildlife tracking skills, and safe driving—especially in the challenging conditions after the flash flooding—means a great deal to us. We'll be sure to share your compliments with them. Thank you again for trusting us with your Tanzania adventure. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable safari in the future. Warm regards, The Heroes Team-2026

Great safari with Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures
After the 7-day Lemosho route to climb Kilimanjaro, we have enjoyed a 4-day safari including national parke Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongo. Guide Elly showed us the greatest places to watch all animals including the Big5! He was really professional and knowledgeable about animals and nature. Also the lodges that were booked by Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures over delivered on our expectations. It was a great adventure accomodates by a really professional but personal agency. Can highly recommend!!

Best safari ever, fully personalized
Our safari in Tanzania with Kilimanjaro Heroes was nothing short of spectacular! The trip was perfectly organized, leaving no detail overlooked. From the very beginning, Evarist tailored the entire experience to suit our needs, understanding exactly what we wanted and ensuring every moment exceeded our expectations. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly our guide, Mr. Mbise, who is hands-down the best guide you could ever hope for. His deep knowledge, passion, and warm personality made the adventure truly unforgettable. The safari itself was absolutely sensational – the landscapes, wildlife, and overall experience left us in awe. Highlights: - Mr Mbise’s favourite samosas - cheetah and cubs dining with a gazelle - hyenas dining what’s leff - baby cheetas, baby lions and baby leopards - elephants surrounding the jeep - giraffes looking at the jeep from above - record number of cheetas spotted - lions caught uncensored in during honeymoon intimacy - zebras and wildbeasts everywhere - more zebras and more wildbeasts If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, Kilimanjaro Heroes is the team to trust. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable
Amazing!!!! From Evarist organising, to the lodges, the food, THE ANIMALS (we were extremely lucky with animals spotting), Eli as a top notch driver… we’re very happy. We did Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We stayed in amazing lodges and tented camps. Two of us (3 friends) are vegetarian, which was not a problem at all.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $4099 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 Days Tanzania Mid Range Lodge Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
