Perfect safari experience

Had an amazing time with KLA Adventures for our first safari. Our guide Emmanuel made sure to get the best & closest view of the animals even when there were many other vehicles around. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals and local culture. He could spot animals from afar that we did not notice. Accommodations were comfortable, fresh cooked meals every day, and the private tour with just 2 people gave us plenty of space inside the jeep for long drives. Keep in mind the serengeti is huge and you cannot cover the entire park in a few days, but 5 day safari was plenty time to see the big 5. If there is something specific you want to see, I recommend communicating that up front when booking as they are great with customizing the itinerary. Very happy with my experience.

PERFECT!

We had the absolute best experience with Ziggi as our safari tour guide! He is such an amazing person – funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what he does. He always knew exactly where to take us and somehow managed to find the best spots to see the animals. He also took so many amazing photos of us, which made the experience even more special. We couldn’t have wished for a better guide and would 100% recommend Ziggi to anyone going on safari. He made our trip unforgettable! Thank you for everything, Ziggi! 🐘🦁❤️

Trip of a lifetime !

Our safari with KLA Adventures was, without a doubt, the best trip our family has ever taken. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organized, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The itinerary was perfect, allowing us to experience the incredible diversity of Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. Thanks to the excellent planning and our amazing guide Mohammed, we were incredibly lucky with wildlife sightings. During our safari we saw more than 20 lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, rhinos, a cheetah, and even the rare and beautiful serval cat—a sighting many people never get to experience. Every single game drive felt like a new adventure. The accommodations exceeded all our expectations. Every lodge was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and served delicious food. A special highlight was Dove Serengeti Camp. Falling asleep to the sound of lions roaring in the distance was simply magical and something we’ll never forget. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The picnic lunches during the game drives were also fresh, varied, and surprisingly delicious. But what truly made this trip unforgettable was our guide, Mohammed. If you’re booking with KLA Adventures, ask for him—you won’t regret it. From the very first moment, Mohammed made us feel like family. We were traveling with my parents, who are both over 70 years old, and he took such wonderful care of all of us. He constantly made sure everyone was comfortable, had enough breaks, could see the animals well, and was enjoying every moment. By the end of the trip, he felt less like our guide and more like our brother. Mohammed is an outstanding guide, an excellent and incredibly safe driver, and a true expert at navigating the national parks. Even on challenging roads, we always felt completely safe with him. His knowledge, experience, and instinct for finding wildlife are remarkable. He worked tirelessly every day to give us the best sightings, positioning the vehicle perfectly and sharing fascinating insights about the animals and nature around us. What impressed us most, however, was his kindness. After our safari had officially ended, our flight from Arusha was unexpectedly canceled. Even though his job was technically finished, Mohammed stayed with us, called the airline multiple times, helped us rebook our flights, organized our transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport, and made sure everything was taken care of. He went far beyond what anyone could expect from a guide. KLA Adventures delivered an unforgettable safari, and Mohammed made it truly extraordinary. If you’re looking for a professional company, fantastic accommodations, an excellent itinerary, and a guide who genuinely cares about making your trip perfect, look no further. Thank you, KLA Adventures, and thanks a million to you, Mohammed, for giving our family memories that will stay with us forever. We can’t recommend you highly enough!

Good Experience

Kla Adventures responds very promptly, even on weekends. After multiple communications regarding our Safari needs, we reached a mutually satisfactory cooperation agreement. Our travel consultant, Johnson, is very responsible. Siloam is very professional guider, he helped us find the Big Five, especially leopards.

4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does 4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti cost?

+

Prices start at $2460 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.

Is 4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 65 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti?

+

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Days Private Tour Tarangire Crater and Serengeti start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

+

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
