    Absolutely amazing experience

It was our first time on safari, and right from the start, Vision Safari guided us through everything—from packing lists to helpful advice. They stopped by the day before the safari to give us a briefing and presented us with a lovely T-shirt as a gift! When the safari began, we were picked up at our hotel and driven for two hours to Arusha. Our guide, Eric, was absolutely fantastic to travel with; he was incredibly friendly, and we felt completely safe with him behind the wheel (even though the roads can get pretty wild on safari!). He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, and thanks to his expertise, we saw so many amazing animals! After the safari, we were driven to our next hotel and received a nice keychain as a gift. It was a truly fantastic experience! We will definitely recommend Vision Safari to all our friends and family!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review with us! We are truly delighted to hear that your first safari experience was so enjoyable and that you felt well supported from the very beginning. It means a lot to us to know that the pre-safari briefing, packing guidance, transfers, and little gifts helped make your journey even more special. We are especially happy to hear your kind words about Eric. We will certainly share your appreciation with him. His knowledge, professionalism, and care for our guests are exactly what we strive for, and we’re thrilled that his expertise helped you discover and enjoy so much of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we are grateful for your trust in choosing Vision Safari & Tours for such a special first safari. Thank you as well for recommending us to your friends and family—it truly means a great deal to our entire team. We hope Tanzania has left you with unforgettable memories, and we would be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

    Amazing!

It was a truly wonderful experience. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the service and experience offered by Vision Safari & Tours. We would like to sincerely thank the agency, in particular Sanura, for the constant availability, flexibility, and attention to every one of our needs and requests. The many transfers between different locations, often covering long distances (thank you Rama!), were always organised with great precision and punctuality. The accommodations we selected from the agency’s recommendations made the entire journey even more memorable. The locations were beautiful, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and caring throughout our stay. Our guide Rashid was experienced, knowledgeable, and professional, and the comfortable, fully equipped 4x4 allowed us to explore and fully appreciate the extraordinary landscapes and wildlife of this unique country without having to worry about a thing. A heartfelt thank you once again to Vision Safari & Tours for making this such an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organised, authentic, and truly memorable safari in Tanzania.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Would 100% recommend!

Everything was well coordinated from start to finish including pick up and drop off from the airport. We stayed the night in Arusha after the last day where were dropped at our hotel and then taken to the airport again in the morning which was great. No need to sort and pay for taxis! Our main luggage was kept safely in Arusha while on the safari and then dropped off at the hotel along with some nice gifts also. Communication leading up to the safari was also really good, giving you peace of mind that everything was sorted for arrival. We also didn’t have to pay the final balance until the day which was nice as there a many tour operators and there’s always that worry of potential scams. The safari itself was amazing. We were lucky enough to see all of the big 5 and much more. Our guide Ricky was highly knowledgeable and always managed to get us to the best spots for viewing, going above and beyond what we expected. All of the accommodation was perfect with great service. The luxury bush camps were our favourite, we even had a hyena come in to camp and heard lions roaring nearby. We didn’t pay for a private tour but were lucky to have only a solo traveller with us for the first 3 days so it pretty much felt like it was. There was another group added on the last date so the jeep was full then. Having other people with you does mean that there is likely to be extra driving as not everyone is always staying at the same accommodation. This means that there is some additional driving to do for dropping people off. If we were to do it again we would consider paying extra for a private tour to avoid this but it was no deal breaker by any means. Overall it was a great experience and great value for money.

Response from the operator: Wow—thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review! Reading your feedback truly means the world to our entire team. We are absolutely delighted to hear that everything ran smoothly from the moment you arrived in Tanzania until your departure. Knowing that the airport transfers, luggage storage, communication before your trip, and the little surprise gifts all helped make your journey more comfortable is incredibly rewarding for us. It is especially wonderful to hear that you had such an unforgettable safari experience and were fortunate enough to see the Big Five! We will be sure to pass your kind words on to Ricky—he will be thrilled to know that his knowledge, dedication, and passion made such a positive impact on your adventure. We're also so happy that you enjoyed the accommodations, especially the luxury bush camps. Having a hyena wander through camp and hearing lions roaring nearby is exactly the kind of authentic African wilderness experience that creates lifelong memories! Thank you as well for sharing your honest thoughts about the shared safari experience. We truly appreciate your understanding, and your feedback will certainly help future travellers choose the option that best suits their travel style. It was an absolute pleasure to organize your Tanzania adventure, and we're honored that you found it to be such great value for money. We sincerely hope to welcome you back one day for another incredible safari—perhaps a private one next time! Thank you once again for choosing us. Until we meet again, karibu tena to Tanzania!
