An Unforgettable 10-Day Adventure with Usaka Travels
We had an incredible experience with Usaka Travels, spending a total of 10 days with David and his wonderful team, including a Mt. Meru hike and a 5-day private safari. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine warmth. Mt. Meru Hike: The entire hiking crew was exceptional. The guides, ranger, porters, and cook were all incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout the trek. Their teamwork and professionalism really stood out, and they made sure our whole family felt safe, motivated, and well cared for every step of the way. A special mention to the porters and cook—true unsung heroes who made the hike comfortable and enjoyable. 5-Day Safari Experience: We did a private 5-day safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti (2 days), Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. The itinerary was very well planned, and the accommodations at Siafu Lodge and Kenzen Lodge were excellent—comfortable, clean, and relaxing after long game drives. The food was consistently great, which was especially appreciated since we are vegetarians. David and our safari guide/driver Douglas were phenomenal. Game drives can always be a bit hit or miss, but both guides were extremely patient and went out of their way to ensure our safari was enjoyable and memorable. They made every possible effort to help us spot all the animals and truly cared about our experience. Overall: The private safari was absolutely worth it, and spending so many days with the Usaka team felt like traveling with trusted friends rather than a tour company. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and heartfelt experience in Tanzania—whether hiking, safari, or both—I highly recommend Usaka Travels.

SAFARI IN TANZANIA
My safari in Tanzania was truly incredible. The landscapes were stunning, the wildlife unforgettable and everything was perfectly organised. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes and many other animals up close — an absolutely magical experience. The lodges were comfortable and immersed in nature, making the whole trip even more special. I highly recommend this safari: it was beautiful from start to finish.

My experience with Usaka Adventures was impeccable, and above all the communication with David is always clear and transparent, he is available to clarify doubts and perplexities. I recommend this experience with Usaka Adventures to anyone!

First time traveling to the Safaris
First time solo traveling to the Safaris, David who was my host in Tanzania went above and beyond to help me make this trip as smooth as possible. I was able to see all of the animals that I wanted to see especially Lions on the Jeep tours. I was also able to do hot air balloon as well and it was cool seeing the views from top! I was happy with the stay at the Seronera Wildlife Lodge as the staff as well as food there were both awesome! I would advise to stay here for a couple of days as Serengeti is mostly based around Safari and Hot Air Balloon.
Response from the operator: Thank you brother, it was really nice moment with you. Karibu tena!

4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire cost?
+
Prices start at $1070 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4-days budget safaris in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
