    About this experience

History come to life with this tour. Visiting two amazing lakes in a single package it's a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Your safari guide knows better the parks than you can ever imagine, with him you will learn so many things about wild, culture and people during the tour. Lake Natron is a mineral-rich soda lake in northern Tanzania, at the border with Kenya. It's a breeding ground for hundreds of thousands of lesser flamingos, despite the highly alkaline state of the striking red waters. It sits below Ol Doinyo Lengai, a soaring active volcano in the Rift Valley. Trails lead from the lake to the Engero Sero waterfalls, which flow over craggy rocks into a natural pool

Local Safari Company organizing world class tours!

Well organized tour with a great knowledgeable guide Nico. 3 parks, 4 days and we were lucky to see all the animals and landscapes we dreamed off. The most unique was seeing a baby lion getting born ...

    ABOVE OUR EXPECTATION

We went on a 4-day tour to: Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti, Ngongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. First of all, the communication beforehand with Destiny Explores went very good, they had a quick response time, were flexible in thinking along and anticipated quickly to give you a secure feeling. Secondly, the driver Hussain - he is a amazing person and he was our walking Tanzanian Google. His experience in the field is just tremendous he knew so much about the nature, animals, vegetation, tribes etc.. Therefore we learned so much about Tanzania due to his knowledge. One day another car in the mountains was having issues and Hussain was there to help them, this shows his character as a great human-being. May God bless him and his family. Amen. Furthermore, the lodges were we stayed: Foresight Eco and Tukaone Serengeti Camp were clean, good food, wifi and very very friendly people. Hence, I can highly recommend Destiny Explores they will give you a truly beautiful experience. No doubt!

Destiny Explorers means perfect Safari time

We booked a 4-day, 3-night safari with Destiny Explorers, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! Communication with Issa was excellent, with prompt responses and helpful tips on how to prepare for the safari. His choice of accommodation was perfect – we couldn’t have done better ourselves. Our safari guide, David, was extraordinary: he had a perfect driving style, was highly knowledgeable about wildlife, shared many fascinating stories, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the sights. We always felt safe and made so many wonderful memories. We highly recommend Destiny Explorers, and our dream is to climb Kilimanjaro with them in the future.

Response from the operator: Hello Przemek, Many thanks for writing such a wonderfully feedback. It was a great pleasure to host you for this incredible experience. Warm regards, Issa

    Super professional guide

Good evening! Thank you for your great guide. I posted review on the website Noely shared, and here I paste same one below. Firstly we were looking for 3-4 days tour, and sent more info request to some companies. Destiny explores had the fastest response. They answered every questions so quick. So I decided to enjoy with them. One of my dreams of Safari is to see great migrations. They manage to do that, even offered changes to our itinerary. During Safari, our guide seemed having a lot of friends and exchanged latest info of appearance of animals. In conclusion, We saw the migration, as well as four of big five animals ( we didn’t see rhino, but there is very few rhinos at Serengeti), cheater hunting attempt, lion’s family gathering. I’m professional TV director back in my country Japan though this is my total holiday, I asked a lot to my guide to move our car back and forth to set my camera position, he managed to do that. We stayed four accommodations, and all of them super. Last night, I stayed at Baobab Luxury camp, there is surrounded by bare nature, even hear the voice of animals very closely at night (24 hours security guard so it is safe) this was exciting experience. One more good thing is clear instruction of tips. As a Japanese, we don’t have tips customs, I don’t get use to it. Our guide instructed at the first day, it is helpful. It was great journey, and I think we are lucky enough to meet good guide.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking your time and leave us a feedback. Such an energetic and helpful comment. Issa

4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does 4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $1600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.

Is 4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4-Day Private Lake Natron and Serengeti Wildlife Safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

    +

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
