Great safari experience, wonderful memories.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience on this three-day private tour through Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. From the moment we set off, everything seemed professionally managed and well-planned. Tarangire National Park was stunning, with a large population of elephants and beautiful open landscapes. Ngorongoro Crater was undoubtedly one of the highlights, offering spectacular views and incredible wildlife throughout the day. Lake Manyara added a refreshing contrast with its greenery, birds and tranquil atmosphere. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and always eager to share interesting facts about the animals and local ecosystem. This trip with friends gave us unforgettable memories and was the perfect start to our introduction to Tanzania's incredible wildlife and natural beauty.

3 day luxury safari experience was authentic.

My wife and I completed a 3-day luxury safari in April 2026, exploring with Herbivore African Expeditions was peaceful and enjoyable. We explored Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, and it was an unforgettable experience. The luxury lodge accommodations were stunning, with beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality. In Tarangire, we witnessed many wildlife and specially heard of elephants, Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The Ngorongoro Crater was equally breathtaking, offering incredible scenery and amazing wildlife on the same day. Last day was very peaceful experience in Lake Manyara. And we were really grateful for a great opportunity to see wildlife up close.

Our 3 day we remember forever.

Booking our 3 day safari with HERBIVORE AFRICAN EXPEDITIONS was a great decision. During 3 amazing days, we explored the beauty of Tanzanian's 3 famous parks Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti national park. The wildlife sightings were incredible from start to finish. We watched many kinds of animals and their natural habitat was just thrilling. Our guide was friendly, funny, and extremely skilled at spotting animals long before anyone else could see them. Overall great and peaceful family adventure. Memorable experience.

Our three days were perfectly organized and felt a personal beginning to end.

We found Herbivore African Expeditions on their Facebook page and opted for a three-day private tour. We explored Tarengire, Ngorongoro and Lake Mayrana. We started in Tarengire National Park. From the moment we met our guide Clinton, everything went smoothly and comfortably. Tarangire surprised us with its peaceful atmosphere, towering baobabs and huge herds of elephants walking right past our car. Our second day was in the legendary Ngorongoro Crater. We saw lions resting in the grass, hippos in the ponds and an incredible variety of birds that did not require much searching. The last stop was at Lake Manyara and the expedition ended with another fascinating experience. The dense forest, the playful monkeys and the tranquil landscape of the lake shores gave the last day a more relaxed feeling. It finished the trip perfectly and left us with a mix of excitement and serenity.

The 3 day journey we'll always look back on fondly.

My wife and I recently completed a 3 day private safari covering Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara, with HERBIVORE AFRICAN SAFARIS and the experience exceeded every expectation we had. Tarangire impressed us right away with baobabs and vast herds of elephants that wandered gracefully across the open plains. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. Ngorongoro felt completely different, almost like entering a world preserved in time. The crater floor teemed with wildlife, and seeing predators and grazers sharing the same space was mesmerizing. We were especially thrilled to spot a black rhino, something we never imagined we would see so close. Lake Manyara provided a refreshing contrast with its lush greenery, woodland areas, and lively bird life. These 3 days gave us rich memories and a deeper admiration for Tanzania's natural heritage.

3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does 3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara cost?

+

Prices start at $980 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.

Is 3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Days Private Tour in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

+

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
