Incredible Tanzania safari with Afromasai
My solo safari with Afromasai was honestly unforgettable. From the beginning, the owner Deus was incredibly responsive, helpful, and attentive, which made travelling alone feel easy and stress-free. The real highlight was my guide, Jordan. His knowledge of animal behaviour and the Serengeti and Ngorongoro ecosystem was outstanding, and you could immediately tell how experienced he was. Thanks to his communication with other guides via radio and phone, we saw incredible sightings I otherwise would have missed. This trip exceeded every expectation I had. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania — especially as a solo traveller — I highly recommend Afromasai.
Response from the operator: Dear Catherine, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for your kind words. It was truly a pleasure to host you on your Tanzania safari adventure. We are delighted to hear that your journey exceeded your expectations and that you felt comfortable and well supported as a solo traveler. Your compliments about Jordan mean a great deal to us. We are proud to have such a knowledgeable and passionate guide on our team, and we will be sure to share your wonderful feedback with him. At Afromasai Eastern Safaris, our goal is to create memorable and authentic safari experiences, and knowing that we helped make your trip unforgettable is the greatest reward for us. Thank you once again for choosing Afromasai. We hope to welcome you back to Tanzania in the future for another incredible adventure. Warm regards, Deus Limaze Managing Director

An absolutely unforgettable adventure with the best guide!
I booked a three-day safari with two overnight stays. In just those three days, we explored three incredible national parks: Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. During our trip, we were really lucky and got to see so many amazing animals — including all of the Big Five! I especially remember the baby elephants, a giraffe coming really close to us, a hippo walking on land, and two incredible hunts we witnessed: a lioness and three cheetahs in action. Both accommodations were wonderful. Our first night was at a beautiful lodge outside the parks, and our second night was at a luxurious camp right in the heart of Serengeti National Park. It was absolutely stunning - we arrived just in time to watch the most amazing sunset, and the room was truly lovely. Between our game drives, we enjoyed delicious lunches inside the parks, with the most amazing views. Our safari vehicle was equipped with both a fridge and a phone charger. The trip was perfectly organized, and we had the best and most amazing guide, Deus. He made sure every detail was taken care of, and even unexpected challenges were handled smoothly and without any issues. There is nothing we could have asked for that wasn’t already provided! I will, with my whole heart, recommend Afromasai Easter Safaris to anyone - especially if you are looking for an exceptional safari experience!
Response from the operator: Dear Sophie, Thank you so much for your incredible review and for choosing Afromasai Eastern Safaris for your Tanzanian adventure! It was such a joy having you on safari and I’m truly happy to hear that you enjoyed every part of your journey, from the breathtaking wildlife encounters to the beautiful lodges and stunning Serengeti sunset. Your kind words about the organization and guiding mean so much to us. We always aim to make each guest’s experience seamless and unforgettable, and it’s wonderful to know we achieved that for you. We deeply appreciate your heartfelt recommendation and can’t wait to welcome you back one day for another amazing adventure, maybe to explore Zanzibar or climb Kilimanjaro next time! Big Five Safaris
Afromasai Eastern Safaris, despite some unforeseen events, managed to organize our couple's safari well. Guide and driver were both very welcoming and guided us exhaustively through 3 different parks and ecosystems: Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. In just a few days we managed to see all 5 of the big five and a large quantity of cubs of each species! Visiting the Maasai village was really special. My first ever Safari, I will never forget it my whole life.
Response from the operator: Dear Valentina & Nicolo , Thank you so much for sharing good review about your experience with us in Tanzania, hard to deny that we really had a great time with you during the safari and we will be happy to have you again in future to Tanzania. Karibu sana,

3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater cost?
+
Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Day Private Budget Safari to Serengeti Np and Ngorongoro Crater start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
