Top notch!!
Chris was so knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. He took the time to get to know us and our interests. We spent 2 days and saw much more than we would’ve seen without him. Chris is friendly and easy to be with. We would definitely use Chris’ services again. If I could give him a score of 10 I would!

1 Day Private Tour Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein
A pleasant & enjoyable 1-day private tour. We were picked up from our hotel in Zurich by Chris. Our journey started from Lindt Home of Chocolate . The visit (museum) was entertaining and informative. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it!! We move on to Stein am Rhein, which is famous for its well-preserved historical buildings and rich cultural atmosphere. Chris showed us around before we had lunch there. He led us to a local restaurant (outdoor) which we found the food was amazingly good. I particularly enjoyed strolling along the waterfront with an ice-cream after lunch. The Rhinefall is a must-see attraction! Known as the "largest waterfall in Europe," the Rhinefall is a natural wonder. With Chris expertise knowledge, he showed us how to bypass the crowds. We took the shortest way to reach the best spot….where we can catch the big scene and took couples nice pics. Should you prefer a hassle free experience enjoying the tourist attractions in Zurich, a private tour with Chris is something you should consider.

Wonderful personalized experience
My mom and I had an unforgettable day touring with Chris through Zurich, the Rhine Falls, and the Lindt chocolate factory. This trip was part of a bucket list celebration for my mom’s 70th birthday, and Chris helped make it truly special. From the start, he was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to our needs. He didn’t just guide us — he joined us fully in the experience, even riding the boat at the Rhine Falls with us. He helped give my mom the confidence to navigate the hills with ease, and we never once felt rushed or overwhelmed. Chris shared fascinating historical insights about Switzerland that we would’ve completely missed on our own, and he was always happy to snap photos for us — with genuine enthusiasm, not just as a favor. You can tell he really loves what he does, and because it’s his own company, the care and personal touch he brings to the tour is unmatched. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide — or a better day. Highly recommend booking directly with Chris if you’re looking for a meaningful, enjoyable, and thoughtful way to explore Switzerland

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein cost?
+
Prices start at $255 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein take?
+
Plan for about 8.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 8.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zürich, Lindt Chocolate, Rheinfalls and Stein am Rhein start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
